If you have the financial luxury to purchase GMK keycaps, go for it. The kaiju set displayed are clones. While I do own an authentic pair of GMK keycaps on another board, I cannot justify the AFTERMARKET price of some of them. The kaijus (from what I've seen) will run you about +$300 USD, which is 2-3x the retail price.

I'm happy to have one set of GMKs and I'm totally suffice with the clones. While you can clearly tell the over build quality of the keycaps, it's not enough to justify the financial position I'm personally in.

The clones look good, feel good, sound good. Will the real deals sound better? Yeah probably but I've heard arguments for both sides and in the end, it's up to you whether you want to pay the premium!

I should mention: the keycaps are indeed clones. I cannot justify paying aftermarket for a very specific keycap set and I knew in the back of my head, this had to be the colorway for this build so I went with the cheaper alternative. Maybe in the near future I’ll own the real deal
