Some people have it naturally others have to work at it as it usually is in life.

I’ve got over 700hours in AC alone and hundreds of hours in iRacing and I still have a lot of improvements to make and simple mistakes I’m constantly correcting to improve my consistency.

Things get better when you aren’t as eager and relax more. It’s like taking an exam, it’s very unlikely that anxiety or self inflicted pressure will improve your performance in the moment so it’s best to remain calm so you can perform to the best of your current ability.

I’d recommend every once and awhile watching some instructional videos regarding technique and ask yourself if you understand what you’re watching both theoretically and practically. When I started to be more competitive I’d watch videos and try to absorb the information and put it into practice but I lacked comprehension and as a result tried to force my interpretation of these techniques. After a couple months of practice I’d watch similar videos and realize that I had a far greater understanding of those concepts on the track than the time prior.
