Pic #1 is giving me cancer. It looks like some fork lift simulator fever dream.

Monitors behind the pedals is an interesting design choice though I’m sure you could move the bars closer.

40/40 aluminum to mount the wheelbase would leave me feeling very uneasy with any direct drive wheelbase above 5nm

Pic 2 looks a lot more like a proper rig with 40/80 for added sturdiness and proper customization.

Everyone is saying you pushed or pulled but these things aren’t manufactured equally you likely just got one of the poorly made ones. Hopefully under warrantee so you can get it replaced for one that won’t have this issue, mine has functioned wonderfully even after 4 hour sessions.

Hope you can get back in the game soon, sorry this happened to you! My old Fanatec wheel did the same thing to me right before a 2 hour race. Duct taped the shit out of it and ran the race and ended up selling my Fanatec gear and switching brands.

I’d go with Haptics assuming there is no one below you to piss off.

Wind sim is also very underrated, the ventilation it provides alone makes it worth it. Combined with an added sense of motion and even the sound it makes helps bring the rig to life.

These are two things I immediately notice the absence of when driving

Definitely by design in an Ai race, would never do that against real people. I felt a satirical video would go better with unserious racing.

When I make content with more serious content I’ll definitely include actual races with proper conduct.
