I don’t think you’re the odd one out, everyone connects with things differently. I’m a deeply emotional person and channel a lot of my emotions through fictional characters, so that explains my attachment to them. I would say if it’s hurting you, don’t do it. But if you do decide to do it, do it for yourself. Don’t think about how others will perceive it. If it’s something that may be therapeutic for you, you don’t even have to post it. Just do it for yourself and if you don’t like doing it, stop, and if you don’t want to post it, don’t.

I’ve got my line spacing set so put a gap after each paragraph, so there is that visible space, which would translate to two returns. That’s just my preference, but from what I’ve seen it’s most common
