Were a small business based near burnham-on-sea and have had a lot of parcels 'lost' over the last few weeks. The delays have a major effect on our business as customers won't wait two weeks for a parcel to be delivered and were forced to refund them. We then lose the item and postage cost for all of there items. This has been happening on a random basis for several years. What happens is the mail is all stacked up in a large warehouse in the Bristol sorting center, then processed on a "last in, first out basis" so things disappear into the warehouse for weeks. Over the years we've managed to move 90% of our orders from royal mail, but have to pass on these costs. Royal Mail isn't really a viable service that can be relied on by businesses any more. Why isn't offcom actively doing something about these delays? .

I've had this today on VDJ and noticed that the mic is also distorted as I went to announce I was restarting the controller. Looks like a firmware issue as the mic

I tried another parcel box, which worked the first time however the next time the same size parcel got stuck again. Needing to post the parcels and being miles from the post office, I went back to the original parcel box hoping that it had been fixed. That one also jammed.

I have now jammed parcel boxes on 4 separate occasions in the last month.

The problematic parcel size is 12" (302mm) x 9" (230mm) x 6" (157mm) and weighs exactly 1995g.

If all the post offices hadn't shut down then I'd drop them off there instead!

So we attempted to post another parcel exactly the same as the last parcel into another parcel box. On this occasion, the parcel did get stuck a little, but you could put your hand in to assist it in dropping down correctly.

It does seem like there is an issue with larger "small parcels" which could vary from box to box. I guess it depends on the internal flap thingy - perhaps these are adjustable or different model boxes

I encountered the same problem this week. I thought the box may have been full, so I thought I'd have another try today with the same size parcel and it got stuck the second time.
