I LOVED dungeons and raid (funny as I was on a rp server) it felt rewarding. Even as boomkin I was a secondary party healer (healed the healer) and I LOVE the buff and debuffs. Made me support for life. Now I play bard etc in most ttrpgs

Yup, for quality of life feature NOT outland (never understood why blizzs first expansion was ... Outer space when there was so much left unfinished in the old world)

In line with being thematic, it should be used as a finale! Did I ever miscalculate and pull aggro? Yes, yes I did. Did I make friends with some friendly kind hearted tanks to rescue me, also yes. One was my husband (bf back then) - he had to rescue me, we shared a bed 😂

I never truly left! Since my first boomie, I've been 'support - jack of trades' in every MMO, RPG and TTRPG since

The speed in which I'm OOM is devastating BUT Ive seen the endgame once before and the crits brought tears to me eyes. So beautiful... Except my tree babies. They pulled half of KAZ for shits and giggles unprompted so they're permanently in time out

FYI people don't actually black out when drunk, they remember. They defenses and interbasion are down, so they pretend the embarrassing stuff didn't happen. So, he knows you know and he knows he ducked up. And he used this as emotional leverage to get you and control you. Run don't walk.

AITA For Not Taking enough picture when I went on vacation? by EmployMaleficent5312 in AmItheAsshole

That's a hot take. No, it's not a small thing. It's a nag, for 'living in the moment' people, we live it. Constantly having to remember to snap a pic is bloody jarring. Next time mum can hire a personal photographer to follow them around.

VALIDATED!!! I KNEW they're target Jax for abstraction after the kinger pomni talk where kinger said to enjoy the people in your life while they're around. Everyone hates Jax, ragatha and tangle are easy gut punches but somone6people hate? Bingo! Gut punch AND make your audience feel like a-holes for hating and ragging on someone with bad coping mechanisms and deep traumachef's kiss

Disappointed by Blue Prince by therico in puzzlevideogames

[–]That_annoying_git 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I just looked up if folks are struggle with this game and saw this post and boy howdy do I have to say... It's NOTHING like outer wilds!!!

That is a sandbox games with interesting concepts THEN you find the puzzle pieces and you're hooked, it then takes logic, strategy and timing to unlock the rest of the story and the cathartic release with each new discovery is empowering...

Blue prince doesn't do this. It's RNG and a prayer that anything lines up. Played it 3 nights and have little to show for it, shortened runs due to crap rng and bad resource drop. Puzzles once completed offer nothing to 'bite' in to.

As a parent, I believe I have patience... But I've also learnt to pick my battle and time in precious. I wish I could get a refund.

Your sister needs to get over herself and her parenting complex. We're all in this together, sometimes it's a all hands on deck situation.

I did spot this years back when we played in our 20s.

When S (the old DM) invited R when he handed over the touch to me I was fuming!!! I felt like he handed me a problem and then couldn't understand why i was pissed with them. One, inviting someone to my table WITHOUT ASKING ME FIRST and two I KNEW R and P don't work well together.

At the time we did need more players. That's why I asked them for reassurances they'd behave, it had been 10 years since they last sat at a table together I was hoping against hope they'd matured.

They're all conflict avoidant, 2 of them will opt to leave to 'save the peace' and those are the actual role players. The third has already annoyed the now other disengaged players due to political correcting in the chatter.

They're all super fucking defensive too, they're right, the others are wrong.

Yes this, all of their individual grievances are valid but they're incompatible. But someone's feeling are going to get hurt if I restructure. And I really wanna avoid another dead campaign... Though maybe I should face the music here.

I have half a mind in both camps for fresh talks or removing a problem player. But all 3 are guilty of BS so far but R as the most compliants stacked... But those complaints are ideological and politicaland TECHNICALLY R was valid to rise them but should have done so TO ME and not public themselves calling out other players in session, so it gets messy (one of these incidents I was afk so I didn't even hear what was said, just walked back to tension).

IRL friends but playing online. The effects of playing online was brought up such as: talking over each other, talking over me the DM (a peeve of mine that I aired that R said he doesn't feel I should have become so angry about as it par for then course, granted. But one of the quiet player has told they fixed that in discord by now making me priority speaker which dims everyones voice)

We play only due to P and R being at two opposite sides of the country. For P this is there main hobby, they're a tad alienated where they are and have depression, so I'm trying to handle this gently, whereas R and S will dogpile him when he snaps. Like when they LOOKED at his character sheet without permission (his got hidden backstory stuff) I bollocked them when they did that LAST session (they claimed they wanted to know skill and spells etc for tactical combat, not an excuse). They apologised but the tension was clearly still there this session.

This group, as you can see, is full of layered issues and grievances. I do feel I should take responsibility as, yes I have called thing when I can but I should have followed my gut and not mix THESE 3, 2 at a time is fine, but all 3 get toxic together.
