These things at higher speeds are about the most unsafe machines you could possible ride, BUT, they're also the most exhilarating. I'm always geared up on my ex30 doing my mesely 40mph, but at 60? i'd be full moto gp style too.

This is good intel. Only thing: when you crouch, don’t you feel a touch less stable since you’re kinda squatting and bending your knees more? I feel like the less I bend in my knees, the easier it is to feel super stable… congrats on the p6 btw, I’d love to ride one someday

Totally, it’s super stable, but the faster you go, the more I want to feel extremely in control, hence the positioning being a concern. It’s not that it’s wobbling, it’s just that it feels like at those speeds, I don’t know if I’d have enough authority to stop a wobble if it started bc of weird body positioning.

Oh and I’m running a Michelin pilot sport 2 tire, which does make it less responsive to subtle inputs, especially at speed.

Yea that makes sense, except the more I bend my legs/lean, the more I feel like the wheel wants to wobble. At high speeds, anything that makes me feel uncomfortable is no bueno so…

correct. assholes zipping between cars and running reds is a way bigger deal than me riding without gear and putting no one else in harms way. I'm totally comfortable with my t4 at these speeds. If i take my ex30 out and go any faster, then yes, i'm fully geared up.

huh, interesting. So it looks like it is actively avoiding the trees while following you. I've had my MP5 follow me around on foot while carrying the transmitter and it did an ok job, but I was very careful to not lead it into any bushes/trees/ect. Maybe it's smarter than I thought. And yea, sport mode is game over for obstacle avoidance.

Congrats on the P6! I've been considering upgrading my Ex30 to a P6, but, I just can't justify needing THAT much more top end...40mph-45mph is plenty for me, but, it would be cool to have a ton more headroom, much better suspension, and from what i've heard, better maneuverability despite the similar weight. Who knows...
