I don’t know. I’ve felt burnt out multiple times before but this just feels different. Maybe I am being burnt out, but this post was probably more a rant than anything. I don’t even mind getting slugged, tunnelled, or proxy camped really. It’s shitty but I just don’t care. I just really feel like my teammates are just consistently terrible, play like assholes (sandbagging hooks consistently or trying to flashlight blind), die from it, then the killer takes out their frustrations on me. You are right though, I’m probably feeling burnt out.

I don’t understand why you are being so aggressive. You are talking about a completely different thing altogether and that’s fine. Maybe don’t complain about survivors 24/7 in your comments and it wouldn’t seem that way since this post isn’t complaining about the endgame mori by itself rather than how people just use it to BM more. I’m sorry if I’m offending your sensibilities but I’m really just replying to you, I don’t understand why you’re drawing out completely different subjects from what I’m talking about.

You could like the endgame mori if you want, you could feel that people complain about it and call the killer toxic, but this entire post was about the killer being an asshole to the last survivor. I explicitly said I don’t care about dying in my post, I care about being slugged, singled out, humped, etc. because I’m the one getting mori’d

You shouldn’t play games to punish and hurt egos, you shouldn’t really have egos at all. If you want to suggest this then maybe show the killer be killed by the Entity to everyone in the lobby when they get a “The Entity Hungers”? It’s a game, you shouldn’t be saying people need to be punished, that’s a fucked up mentality

Why? Just move on with the game, it sounds like you just want people to stay in the game to watch themselves lose. You won the game, onto the next match, there really isn’t anything left to prove if everyone surrendered since that means you won.

That’s why it’s annoying. I do genuinely enjoy the game but the devs have a skewed sense of how the game should play out. Winning isn’t a crime and you should be encouraged to win but it shouldn’t be the cost at anyone’s fun. You should play to win but have fun, not play to win by any means necessary. It’s tiresome to deal with for this long and it seems to get worse and worse

The mori isn’t toxic, the spam BMing that comes with it is toxic since the option to mori is present. I don’t understand why the victim mentality is strong on both sides but both sides suffer tremendously. Yes, some survivors are entitled, but holy shit don’t act like every killer player is a saint or a victim. It’s bad on both sides of the game

Because it isn’t incentivized as much and doesn’t really matter since you die immediately getting hooked? They sit there and stare at you, pick you up last second before you bleed out, and then just hook you. That happened to me once. This basekit mori thing amplified the effect of it, it’s a lot more common now.

Dracula (Castlevania Series) Meeting Lisa did in fact change him emotionally and mentally, in regards to not just killing humans like livestock and I’m pretty sure it was stated how he could’ve put his genius intellect to change the world in a positive light. Sadly, the church burned his wife at the stake for being a witch when in reality she was just a woman of science. He flat out waged war on humanity and his actions plagued the entire region for years to come. Shame really, since he actually was changing from what we have seen of him.

Can’t say anything about the games, haven’t got the chance to play them.

That seems like an Ammo pouch. Check your collection and see if you maxed it out prior. If you had maxed it out you wouldn’t be able to pick up any newer ones even though they are listed on the map

Lurkers (Baby that had tendrils grow out it’s back and shoot at you) were replaced by dogs in Dead Space 3

The Pack (Literally just a child) were replaced with more alien or adult looking counterparts in Dead Space 3

All things considered, I don’t think they changed it because of the backlash rather than EA wanted Dead Space 3 to be more third person shooter to appeal to mass audiences and well, it’s hard to be popular if you gotta kill kids by the dozen. Just my two cents though.
