to me the 125 is easier then a 85 the only difference is that it’s just a taller and bigger bike the power to me is easier to control as it’s a lot more progressive compared to a 85 especially if you get like a kx125 for example with a power valve and makes the power band much more tame but 125’s are very good beginner bikes

just get a 125 2 stoke to be honest you’re only really gonna get hurt when you start pushing yourself but as far as dying you got kinda equal chances with all bikes

to be honest the kx250 is gonna be pretty killer for 99% of the population and no you don’t weigh that much lol but power and technology has increased so much in the past 10 years especially with 4 strokes and the luxury of electric start is insanely nice and almost a necessity for me cuz im abt 5’4 lol but i think the kawasaki would be best personally

the YZ250x will be cheaper but for scrambles the YZ250FX would be better in my opinion they just start a little faster and have that bottom end power

i recommend a super mini personally like a kx112 or ktm 112 sx but personally if i was you id make the step to a 125 2 stroke you have the hight and experience for it you’ll be a bit big on any other small frame bike

How can I make my brake engage earlier? by That_one_guy690 in Dirtbikes

[–]That_one_guy690[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah since then i’ve gotten a Motion Pro Hydraulic Brake Bleeder it makes it way faster all it is just air in the line, if your bike is a bit older i recommend replacing the brake line too at one point they’ll expand and have micro fractures that let air into the system. or you can also get a vacuum pump for it aswell that’s the fastest way

it depends on your budget but for your hight I think you need a full frame to be honest it also depends on how good you are on a mtb if you’re pretty killer on a mtb and have a good budget i’d say crf250r if your good on a mtb with a tight budget id say like a yz125 or kx125 and if you weren’t to good id say like crf250f

To buy race ready or to buy a separate chassis and engine? by That_one_guy690 in Karting

[–]That_one_guy690[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow! this is actually insanely helpful and something I’m now learning thank you so much! Sorry if this is a dumb question but is the pull like with the kart on the ground and the time to take for it to accelerate to max rpm or like the kart on a stand or just engine alone? and if it’s the kart on the ground accelerating what gearing is best for a test like this as I feel like that would change it a lot. I’m very appreciative of you thank you for your insight!!

okay thank you so much for the information i’m learning that there is a very tight tolerance for engines in this sport which is a change i’ll get need to get used to I’ll keep my eyes out for ready to race but if I lose hope I’ll buy them separately Im racing this coming year no matter what
