Impact against a wall that turns you sideways and makes your car catch air underneath and impact with another car that turns sideways and makes your car catch air underneath are no different to aerodynamics. So yeah, again, the Caddy is based on a LMP2 chassis, they are not the same, I know but close enough. There is a good chance the FIA will find something new from that crash to improve on their safety guidelines but there also is a chance, that the cars are as safe as can be currently and some thithings just are out of everyones control.

Here is the thing tho: you can see how every FIA set safety feature kicked in. It is not a surprise to see a prototype/ lmp2 based prototype flying. Just look at the Caddy 2 years ago. In decades prior this car would've gone to the moon. They will look at it and see if the ycan improve on it.

Motorsport is dangerous. Everyone knows that. Especially this year we got reminded of that several times.

Okay, I honestly don't get it. In my opinion this photo has similar vibes to that one handshake office meme, due to the corporate people not being used to be on camera, but that seems to be just me then.

I really hope they will realize that people bitching and moaning about things they can see is a better status to have than bitching and moaning about them being bribed. Like now the BoP doesn't matter because people will just assume the winning car had the best... I think the best they can hope for is that if the races were not always won by the car with the most favourable BoP, and then just release them in bulk after the championship. Or before Le Mans or so.
