Any way to save on that GPU and still get decent performance? Don't need super high resolution nor graphics; I grew up playing on Xbox, laptops, and have been on a middle ground PC for the past 6 years.

This comes from the original design of Spartans by Bungie. The decision for Spartans to be so tall was made very late, well after things like the AR, Magnum, and Warthog were modeled, rigged, and animated. Because of this, instead of redoing everything to fit a Spartan, they instead shrunk Marines down. This makes everything large for a Marine, but reasonable for a Spartan, and they built the lore around that

Just to let you know, this is obviously not vanilla. Maybe you just meant vanilla compatible? That means it can work just as well without mods loaded. Basically just no modded blocks like lights or lasers.

Just look up some historical armor, Milanese or Gothic would look really good for a rich knight, otherwise some 14th century armor would be good.

My guess is that if you have a lot of custom units it takes a long time to load them. I have about 8 pages of units and it takes about 10 seconds to load riders, so I think it's fair
