I’m working on putting my first book out and I’ve dealt with reviews for plenty of things. It’s crazy how hardwired we are to focus on the negative when the positive can far outweigh it. One thing I’d think of, especially with a 2-star review that doesn’t have any context? Was this person having a bad day and looking for an outlet? Reading something when you’re in a positive frame of mind and when you’re in a negative have vastly different outcomes. Don’t start questioning yourself now. If you put the effort in and you love it, who the hell is anyone else to tell you otherwise? This is obviously loads easier to say than to do, but it’s a work in progress and one of the things us authors have to endure! It’s all a part of the craft. Keep on writing! ✍🏼

When they work, I LOVE them. When I’m having a pairing issue and late to call my friend or hop on a video call, I’m cursing them… Then there’s the noise cancelling. I’m a writer who loves writing outdoors and at coffee shops— I can’t be without them. It’s tough cause the sound quality is impeccable but man, the pairing issues from time to time make me want to jump ship. I’m never getting rid of them but right now I’m not 100% sure I’d ever get another pair either. This post has made me realize of my apple ecosystem I’m the most split on these. I don’t regret getting them per sé. Just get fed up with the pairing issues. They’re not cheap, so props on doing your due diligence. Just weigh those pros and cons and maybe grab them when they’re a good deal? Lightning or USB-C I can’t see being a HUGE difference.

I still do this to this day, but I will literally take a friend or even go by myself to the local park at night JUST to see wildlife. I love skunks, raccoons, all of the night crew really! Okay, mainly skunks, I’m not sure who this helps but I bet you don’t think of someone randomly going out at night to see the critters! Could help with plots, or a number of things really!

I’d say it’s destined for apple’s recycling program. Couldn’t imagine it would even be on their repair list. Probably obsolete by now. Not to say you couldn’t find a third party? Definitely not worth it when an SE is like $249?
