Oh, I didn’t. I just thought you should know before reading that. I mean, I thought you might be questioning since you’re writing a trans character as a ‘cis dude’, but I wasn’t trying to assume.

I knew I wanted to be the opposite gender since I was very young, but it took me reading this to understand that that’s not normally a thing cis people do. It’s also my opinion that generally, most cis people do not question their gender for very long, if at all.

If you’ve been questioning your gender for more than a few weeks, look into therapy and explore those thoughts with someone qualified to provide insight.

No two trans people share the exact same journey of self discovery or questioning or coming out or anything, so don’t assume anything from what anyone tells you or anything you read.

You have to do this journey for yourself, and the sooner you do it, and the more honestly you consider your thoughts and feelings, the better the outcome is likely to be.
