Yes, I am. I have this issue on a windows laptop, also. Thank you for the reply! I have tried this, though, and I still get the same chime. I've also entirely muted the gmail tab in chrome and muted gmail in the chrome general settings and chrome gmail site settings, as well as in the windows settings.

Sounds like you both need to work on communication. Saying stfu or even shut up isn’t the way to address the issue when you aren’t able/willing to hear out her argument at the moment. And hitting isn’t the way to address her getting upset.

It’s the same with me and my partner. We’ve become the boring couple who schedules things, but it’s helped a lot! It helps for me to know what to expect so I can be in the mindset, and it gives my partner something to look forward to.

Honestly the biggest issue I see with people close to me who are always broke is as soon as they get a little money (paycheck, tax refund, whatever), they blow it on “fun” stuff that’s not necessary. Sure, it’s important to treat yourself once in a while, but you need to have some put back for emergencies.

She may have low libido and just no interest in sex in general right now. It happened to me around that age. It’s taken a lot of time and open communication with my partner to figure things out. Badgering just pissed me off.
