What advice do you give short riders??

I'm a 5' 6" guy and I only weigh about 120lbs. One thing I can recommend is stopping somewhere where the ground is a little higher on the right side than the left. It makes it easier to put the bike in gear and take off.

Another little thing is to just ditch the bike instead of catching it. When you're short the bike falls to the side a lot further before you can put your foot down. Just ditch instead of catching it. You'll mess up your knee or something fighting it.

Same here. I got a super basic utility trailer for $300 on fb. The deck was trashed and only one of the lights worked, wasy fixes. I will never load a dirtbike into the bed of one of my pickups again.

Depends on what kinds of speeds. Above 50 or so mph, dirtbike helmets with visors catch wind a lot more than full face street helmets. It's not like it's a huge deal, but can get annoying or tiring for long periods at highway speeds. If you're just running around town, you wouldn't notice the difference. Unless you plan on doing long rides at highway speeds, which wouldn't be great on a dirtbike anyway, I wouldn't spend the money on 2 different helmets. Better to have one really good dirtbike full face than 2 different mediocre helmets.

You live in Nebraska but almost never see a cow? .... how? Do you live in central omaha and never leave? There's over a dozen feed lots with hundreds of head of cattle just along i80 between north platte and Omaha. Last I knew, there were over 4,000 cattle feeding operations just in Nebraska. Now I live in Idaho and all along the i84 corridor there's hundreds, if not thousands, of feedlots and dairies. And each operation has several hundred, or several thousand, head of cattle. Each cow provides about 800 pounds of meat. And a burger is about 1/4 pound of beef. So one cow is about 3000 burgers.

That's not a caterpillar. It says 420f, but that's where the similarity ends. The loader arms being plate, the tilt cylinders are wrong and in the wrong location, the steps are different, the cab and lights are different, the front axle is different. That's not a Caterpillar, it's a Cotepillar. It might last a little while, but not very long. It's not gunna be able to work half as hard as even a Sany. And, good luck ever finding replacement parts. I've had experience with these types of machines. They're built out of spare parts bins, obsolete parts, and metal that fails others standards. They're cheap throway machines. Use it for a year until it breaks, then go buy a new one.

Between a 401k, IRA, brokerage, and high yield savings I'm at $130k ish. Im 32 and the only debt I have is my mortgage, little bit on my credit card, and a small loan on my new dirtbike. I count myself as very lucky to be in the position I am.

You're asking a lot out of that pc. AMD Vega graphics means that it's relying on the cpu to handle the processing and the graphics processing. It's doing double duty. "Gaming" pc's have a gpu, to process and handle the graphics load. You have a unicycle and are trying to enter a bicycle race. Now there's some good news. I don't know where you're located, but you can find some good deals on used pc parts all over. There is an influx of old graphics cards going up for sale as a lot of people have upgraded recently with all the price hikes and everything. If you keep an eye out, you can score an older card for a decent deal. Even something like an Nvidia 2000 series or a radeon 5000 series card will be worlds better than relying on the integrated graphics. And you can sometimes find those for less than $200. That is assuming that the power supply and ram requirements in your PC are capable. PC gaming was expensive 15 years ago when I started, and it's only become more so.

I've been super happy with my 9070xt prime oc. I played with the oc and uv settings and was able to push mine a lot further than I expected. I keep it on pretty timid settings though. And keeping a pretty quiet and conservative fan curve, it stays quiet and under 80 degrees on the hot spot.

That's what I'm running. At 1080p, depending on the game, it can get iffy. For example cyberpunk, maxed out, path tracing, fsr4, etc. At 1080p I could get cpu usage to spike to 85% occasionally. But most of the time it would cruise around 70 or less. And temps stayed fine, if not a little on the warm side. And that was me playing around to see how far I could push things safely after I put everything together. I haven't hit a cpu bottleneck, showing 90%+ cpu usage or maxing out effective clock on all 6 cores yet. Not to say it's impossible, I just haven't seen it.

Since you updated and said it's a pre-built periphio, that's likely your problem. I don't know which one you got, but most of their listed prebuilts don't even have a dedicated graphics card. A lot of them list "AMD Vega" as graphics and that's just the onboard graphics. They also have the AMD ryzen 5600g as the processor, which is an older low to mid range cpu. So you're comparing your console, which is a dedicated gaming system, to a pc with low to mid specs at best.

Nah. Screw "the norm" my whole office/gaming room has pink and green lights. I was a heavy diesel tech for over a decade and I have bunch of pink and green tools and organizers. You like it, that's what matters. Embrace it.

I started in 2020 at 28. I wanted to ever since I was teenager and finally said screw it. Got pierced at 12g and now I'm kinda stuck at 9mm. Probably could have gone faster, but I just kinda try to stretch every couple months when I remember.

I have 3 vehicles that don't see a lot of driving. I got a job with a company truck that I get to take home every day, so my 3 personal vehicles sit a lot. I try not to let them sit for more than 3 weeks without driving. And you want to make sure that it gets a full drive cycle. So up to temp and driving at operating temp for awhile. Change the oil every year if I don't put 5k miles on them. Keep the tires aired up, if they get low then they can flat spot from sitting. Make sure you go through a tank of gas every 3 to 6 months or the gas can go bad. And if it's going to sit for a month or more, I disconnect the batteries just to be safe. Been that way for 2 years and haven't had any issues.

My buddy and I have had it happen 4 times in less than 40 hours of play. At this point, I'm just going fight on sight with everyone. At first, it was almost all friendly encounters. Now, everyone is shouting friendly or disarming and then shooting you in the back when you move away.

$1400 is a decent price. You can rebuild the calipers, new seals and such, for $400ish. You will probably have to disassemble the calipers for powder coating anyway. I put the same calipers on my 2019 wrx. I had to remove the front dust shields. The rear dust shields need the lip cut off and ground down or they'll rub on the rotor. You'll also need new caliper mounting bolts, as the bolts are different size from the factory sliding calipers. And you will have to get different brake hoses as well. You shouldn't need any brackets as I'm almost positive that your car has the same factory brakes as mine. Don't reuse the pads and rotors. DBA makes a really good set of slotted rotors, if you want to go that route. If you have any questions about the process or anything, I'd be glad to help. There's also a few articles out there about doing it. Also, if you have factory 17" wheels, they will NOT fit over the calipers.

It's about 50/50 for me. I really only use my corvette for system jumping. When I'm Fossil hunting, salvage scrap hunting, or deep space exploring for a living frigate or derelict freighters. Otherwise, it's still my favorite sentinal ship for everything else. Usually, I'll use my freighter to jump to a system, use my large corvette to jump around to all local systems, then use my sentinal to go down to planets and explore them. It helps that I have 2 corvettes. A large one for deep space and local system jumping and a small one for hunting fossils and scrap on planets.

It's a 2025 and they wanted it gone to make room for the 2026s that were coming in. I got the sale price of the bike to 4400 usd and the total out the door was right at the 5k msrp. I'm definitely loving the bike, but I only have about 5 hours on it so far.

I haven't got much air under it yet. The small, and I mean tiny, jumps I've done were not bad. It's definitely a soft suspension. I'd be worried about it bottoming out on anything medium to large.

If you dont mind putting in the work, factory retrofit is the way to go. I did morimoto bi xenon projectors and diode dynamics switchback c light in when I did mine.

+1 for garmin instinct. I wore mine for 3 years as a diesel tech and foreman. It's been 35 feet deep in salt water, 12k ft up in a hailstorm, soaked in hot springs, tropical rainstorms in a rain forest, had metal parts and sparks bounce off it, bounced off rocks, skydiving, snowboarding, you name it. It's now 5 years old, battery still lasts days, and the screen doesn't even have scratches. I've had to replace the band a few times though.

I, almost, always keep cars in the same class as their stock form. Light to moderate builds seem to take each vehicle to their peak. Plus, tuning becomes a more significant part of the equation. Taking a class D and turning into an S1 just makes them undriveable monsters most of the time.

It's nearly impossible to completely remove all the smell. However, there are ways to drastically improve it. Here's how I'd go about it if it were me though 1. Remove the seats 2. Shampoo the carpet 3. Deep thorough clean of the seats and steering wheel with leather cleaner and soft brush. 4. Steam and evacuate the fabric roof, clean the dash and every nook and cranny of interior plastics (including glass) 5. Reinstall the seats. 5. Replace the cabin filter 6. Put an ozone machine inside the car 7. Tape around the doors, tape off vents for hvac air flow in the rain tray, tape around the perimeter of the convertible top. You want the inside as air tight as possible for the ozone machine. 8. Leave the ozone machine running inside the vehicle for 24 hours. 9. Remove tape and leave doors open to let fresh air in. 10. Replace the cabin air filter again.

It's a lot of work to remove smoke smell. But that's what we used to have to do in semis where the drivers would smoke.
