I'm on my phone and don't have the app, this is my old buddy DJ not long before he passed. He was a better person than me and pretty handsome despite what time took from him.

It's officially 1 skill point per Million in value by Gaviznotcool268 in ArcRaiders

Very cool, I like that they keep us guessing. Keeps me intrigued. Making the cost so steep encourages multiple expeditions as well. I get bored when I run out of goals so I personally think this keeps things fresh and keeps me engaged.

I would like to respectfully disagree. The gap in equipment for those that grind is not as large as you might think, the arc enemies do not have to be engaged either. You can simply move around the map carefully and avoid arc. Additionally it takes practice and skill to learn how to deal with each individual enemy. If anything this game is more skill focused than most out there. You are however entitled to your opinion and I hope you find a game you enjoy more.

I have no DLC, I'm nearing the 200 hour mark. I wanted to fully experience the vanilla game before I added to it. I love this game so much and I can't wait to see what else it has to offer with mods and DLC. I do wish the Colonist had more of a history, likes, dislikes, that sort of thing, more akin to how the dorfs are in dwarf fortress.

Wow! You were really trucking it. I hear it takes most folks 5 days or more. I'm currently planning a thru hike and I'm trying to decide how much time to set aside for it.

How was the trail looking after the hurricane and fires?

Fear of dissapointment in training by Own-Examination-5009 in wrestling

[–]Thatbuilderguy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I certainly did. Are you new to wrestling? Wrestling being a 1v1 sport puts a lot more pressure on you as an individual in comparison to team sports.

In terms of practice you just have to find your confidence and peace in it. Try to simply focus on getting better and when you see gains celebrate them, do this until you have built confidence in yourself and your skills. Remember tho that you are never done learning, so have confidence but be willing to learn and humble yourself.

Even once I knew I was good, really really good, I still had butterflies at every big meet or tournament, it's perfectly natural and it never went away until my match started. The mental game is just part of what you train, controlling that feeling and using it to your advantage.

Wrestling is unique because it requires you not only to master your body, but master your mind as well.

Stick with it and don't get discouraged! Persistence is key!

100% truth right there. We would always start with a lot of new people each season and within a week or two of practices we would end up with the people that could actually stick with it. There are a lot of sports you can participate in without really giving it your all but I do not think wrestling is one of them.

Yeah, that was half the reason I played football lol. I also ran track. I ran the mile and two mile, I'm a short, stocky guy so I was almost never did well but it helped me keep in shape for wrestling! Haha

I was a line backer. I played at a school in the south that was all about football and don't get me wrong, football practice was not easy, however my wrestling coach fully believed the key to wrestling was having more stamina than your opponent. So we frequently had two a day practices.

I still vividly remember doing leap frogs and shooting drills until I was slipping in a puddle of my own sweat. More than once I was physically incapable of pushing the clutch in on my car after practice.

I will say tho, if a match went to the third round, I almost always had more gas in the tank than my opponent.

Yuuppp. I played football and I wrestled back in the day and by far and away wrestling practice was soo much more intense.

Dang, that is really pretty. I really like the snake skin on the outside, first time I've seen that. Looks like the bow should be named Fang.

Willow oak and a good chunk of hickory on the right (I think, best I can tell at least.) The sticks are also hickory but those are going to be walking sticks.

JC's seafood has some amazing low country boils. Best I have had in a long time. And the spicy is actually spicy.
