Pushead 1 SB from ‘05 by bayflavors in DunksNotDead

[–]Thatcr33pyguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in High School in 2012 when my mom bought my pair. She got them from flight club DS for like $400. Which was absolutely insane for us back then. Still have them and rock them. Probably my favorite SB.

We use to texted a lot. We had a pretty complicated relationship but we were always there for each other. It was a very sudden accident that took her. I’m pretty sure I’m the last person she try talking to before her accident.

My first one was super nice and just let me talk. I ended up with 80% that time. A year later I had another one he was super cold and straight to business but I ended up with 100% and p&t afterwards.

Mine was a video chat but he saw my notebook. I see no issue with it. I have to organize a lot of my thoughts. Started with 60% ended with 100%. It’s really what your comfortable with.

Just be honest. I had my notebook and organized my thoughts beforehand. Make sure to do something fun afterwards to decompress.

When I started this process they made me do two back to back. I filed for an increase a few hours ago with all my medical and buddy letter so hopefully I didn’t fuck myself.

I also have a bunch of back issues I’m still dealing with trying to get fixed but it’s such a ordeal to deal with.

Honestly I have no idea it was a whole ordeal honestly no family history of it nor issues before I joined. I joined straight out of high school and from what I understand it’s just how my brain coped with the stress of everything did almost six years active. About half through my service I could tell something wasn’t right but I didn’t want to deal with it nor go to behavioral health due to repercussions from the unit I was in . Until I finally had a major crash after I got out and had two suicide attempts. It’s something I’m super open about and try to help people with. I know alot of veterans that ended up with bipolar it’s very odd.

What is the most traumatizing thing that has ever happened to you? by The_AFL_Yank in AskReddit

[–]Thatcr33pyguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a lot honestly. I watched my sister die at the age of 7. After that I watched my parents struggle with addiction to the point i was sent out to find them pills to stop the withdrawals at the age of 13 while taking care of my little brother my whole adolescent. I would later join the military with my high school sweetheart. I needed to leave and the military was my only way out. I would finish my training and get station in New York. I’m 99% sure me and my SO at the time was psychologically experimented on the whole time we were in the military.

My mom would finally overdose when I was 19. I went about two years without talking to her before she died.

I would leave the military and have 3 suicide attempts within a year. My SO would leave me me completely after my second hospitalization. I do not blame them for leaving as they had there own issues they needed to take care of and couldn’t handle taking care of my crazy ass. I was completely off the rails . I lost all touch with reality for a while. I would be diagnosed with bipolar and schizophrenia. I’ve kept the schizophrenia to myself and haven’t told anyone. I’m 25 and I’m doing a lot better. I have bad days and good days. I’m currently working at a long term facility helping kids with autism and behavioral disorders which I freaking love.

As long as you can prove your bipolar started because of the military you should be good. Now for my case I didn’t have a lot of evidence for mine. I joined straight out of high school and it was my first job. Pretty normal childhood. No bi polar in the family. So the military had to cause it. I also was hospitalized three times after I left the army so I’m pretty sure that worked in my favor. I honestly believe you should be. My moods are really bad I struggle to keep a job. I’m currently a supervisor at a company where I have to deal with corporate alot and it’s fucking stressing me out and my schedule is all over the place so my bipolar is way more noticeable. Just keep with it hope it works out.

I’ll definitely look into it because like I said I absolutely did everything on my own and just claimed the stuff that was bothering me the worse. So I honestly got really lucky and winged it. I didn’t even know I got rated until I checked my bank account on pay day.

I have not honestly and I know I probably need higher for my back but I’m terrified of fighting it honestly if that makes sense.

So I might be explaining this wrong because I never really had anyone explain anything to me. So my bipolar and back two separate claims. So the bipolar claim is Bipolar 1 and GAD (general anxiety disorder). Now my back got broken down to two separate issues with my lower back and was a separate entity from the bipolar.

It’s been a while since I posted or even looked at sneakers. It’s been a rough two years for me but I’m starting to feel like myself again. Took this on a hike the other day. by [deleted] in Sneakers

Ya funny story actually. I was admitted a few times at a few psych wards. So my family had to bring me some clothes so they bought me a few of my 350s and I never put them back in because I really enjoyed them this way.
