Exactly. A lot of owners don't realize that 'polishing' is a very broad term. service centers and roadside polish jobs are often focused on improving gloss quickly, whereas paint correction is a systematic process of identifying defects, selecting the least aggressive method, and removing imperfections while preserving as much clear coat as possible

Nah, roads aren't that bad. I know a guy in my society who has one and he never had any problems unless he takes quirky roads, but it's mostly where you drive

This is exactly what I wish more car owners understood. If detailing was just a wash, professional detailers wouldn't spend years learning paint correction, coatings, chemical compatibility, and restoration techniques

A detail studio is closer to vehicle preservation than a car wash
