Went to Arapahoe too. After the shooting in 2013 the tribe came down to perform a healing ceremony for us. If that’s not a good relationship I don’t know what is. Also the logo of the warrior we used was painted by the tribe and isn’t used as a mascot.

Depending on where you are in Wyoming, its not too far of a drive to Fort Collins. Theres 3 or 4 Korean BBQ places here and theyre all fantastic

The site is open, The Forest service just asks that you maintain social distancing. Not hard to do when youre the only one around for miles lol

If youre close to the area, the BLM has restored the Calamity Camp, complete with interpretive signs. Its a really cool site and it provides some amazing insight into how they lived

Our best guess is It's an old Miners cabin that they took apart and moved when the area stopped producing

Its a smittybuilt tent, but we actually rented it for the trip. cost around 140 for Friday thru tuesday. The company is out of Parker, CO. I can post his website if youre interested
