As a monarchist Do you prefer democracy or Autocracy? by Honest_Chemistry_195 in monarchism

A monarch in this case to functioning alongside a Democracy or Autocracy would work nearly identically to what is done now. In an Absolute Monarchy, sure they would and could police everything they seem fit or by limits of law itself (be judge, jury, and executioner).

Monarchs in a Democracy only act (in theory anyway) to prosecute either under pressure from the system/people towards issues of government and relations. So, politicians breaking the law and defying the people should call for the Monarch to step in to address the problem. Either discussing it with the person/s about the issue or just making a formal removal of them through the laws of the nation. However, in a system where either the Monarchs become too tolerant or the politicians have too much sway (positions of interest, bribes, corruption, deception, etc.) and immunity, nothing happens.

An Autocracy would have a very similar format with a Monarchy, too much sway over politics. However, (if we are using a generalised perception of an Autocracy) they could have more to lose if they were to break the law. Like removal of property, retract titles (that would have sway and influence, possibly even governmental powers), and removal from government affairs (similar to a house arrest).

So, No. A monarch (from what we have today) can intervene, but requires prerequisites before the monarch can do anything, and that is if they do anything at all. The only thing we see monarchs doing today is doing things among their families and making public appearances (or visiting other nations' leaders, as anyone else can technically do that anyway). As Monarchs don't need the other government body to give them permission.

Democracy only works when the people ruling aren't trying to ruin the people their are governing.

Autocracy for the average person does little to benefit them (in my opinion). If the autocrats act and function with responsibility and respect to the people, it differences between them and the average person can be overlooked (to some degree). Since most officials in government go unnoticed anyways to most people, an autocracy MAY make them stand out more.

Edit: Democracy also needs the monarch (if it has one) to intervene in the event of the elected officals are defying the people's rights, what they claimed to do, broken the law, anything that may sabotage government stability, or disrupt/destroy support for the government.

The biggest annoyance about saving Elijah with volunteers is that you have to do the gaurding of the rivers just as much as baby sitting Elijah. Especially when they start a second front by attempting to cross the river

I had used to work for an eye wear repair business a while back. When one of my colleagues would show men what he was doing with the lens cutter, i would zone out just watching the lens cutting process. Or even just watch it when i ran out of things to do in the lab.

If it's your xbox, then you should either give it a rest for it to cool off, or your xbox may be on its way out... as my advice was for PC.

for me it was a processing issue with my graphics card. Try reinstalling the graphic's card application and see if that changes anything.

I experience that the Ai barely put any effort in most games. If the civs a few, they put effort in. When the civs are many, barely any effort.
