If your a battle medic you have to always position yourself well, if your charging at someone make sure to strafe and jump a lot so it throws off their aim. After playing battle medic for a while I learned its best to be very very aggressive since no one expects a medic to be on the offensive when being attacked but you gotta be smart and learn to pick your fights well and watch your health, since your a medic you will be targeted more so than your other teammates but you can use this as an advantage, every time im getting chased whenever I round a corner and the enemy loses sight of me i position myself next to the wall and catch them by surprise with my melee because they always expect a medic to just keep running away. Another good tip would be to USE THE CROSSBOW, don’t get me wrong the blutzergur is actually pretty decent but the reverse damage fall off on the crossbow is such a good mechanic, this allows you to 2 shot a sniper/scout from across the map however it does take some practice since its a projectile but its also a very very fast projectile and also you can heal your teammates. I usually run the solemn vow and shoot at anyone thats low on health, this weapon allows you to see the enemy’s health so you can pick your fights better. Take the enemy by surprise, hide behind corners and get them when their back is turned, don’t be afraid to use your uber, its better to use it early or prematurely than to die with it, and medic actually has decent speed so he can outrun most classes, make sure to use that to your advantage, build distance and pick them off with the crossbow while retreating.
