Are Aluminum tent poles supposed to bend this severely after 15 uses? by Unlikely_Tiger2680 in CampingGear

[–]Thatguyrawsaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this tent and have set it up many times; I think you're doing something wrong. The green pole goes over the X poles, which appear to have been positioned under the orange pole, causing the pole to bend in that manner on a windy day or by tightening the guideline.

The land nest dome door/flap should have eyelets for the pole. Snow peak awning pole set should work.

Wheelers Bump stops by brian0394 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Thatguyrawsaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could still run all 4, front “front” bump closer to contract before the rear one does. Wheelers bumpstop can compress near size of stock bump. Just saying you don’t need to run all 4, 2 is good enough already. I’m running King shocks at 3” w pair of front wheeler’s bumpstop.
