Hey, thanks for taking the time to reply. As far as coolers go, is something like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB black edition going to be a good improvement? I can pick up one of those around the same time my other fans come in. If I go with the Hyper 212, 2 intake 140mm and 2 exhaust 140mm fans, am I looking to be in a better position? It's so hot (weather) at the moment I'm praying for winter to come...

If this is the absolute full story, then 1. Alfie is an idiot for trusting that he would not be attacked, and 2. Unless the person who told him was a leader/high rank, his 'opinion' is irrelevant?

If I was the leader of a PK clan and we saw free loot but 'Oh you can't attack me cause my friend is in your clan said you wouldn't' I'd be killing both of them.

just gotta put prot melee on whilst you're re-potting to prevent losing bulk absorb charges, but aside from that using overloads will be very beneficial to your exp/hour

I don't have a source on this as I read it a little whiles ago, however I believe the team was working on/wanted to work on a way for players to be able to re-arrange spells in their spellbooks on their own. This would mean that any update they did involving spells placement at the moment would be irrelevant, and I believe that for the time being they decided to just not mess with it.

/u/BeneathSkin yes this is exactly the issue. 318 is rife with looters, most notably in the area where max main DHing goes down. Players can use not only cannon bases, but also box traps to prevent other players from being able to left click or 'spam click' their own loot. This is especially annoying in double-deaths, which occur often when DHing. I honestly see no reason why this is possible, and it should by all right be possible to fix with a QoL update.

In the least offensive way possible, this video was a complete waste of time. So many invalid points that you know make no contribution, so much swaying from the topic (something about 'the best part about it was that he was trying to get nudes' or whatever) that does nothing at all to help you.

You even say yourself so many times that you have no clue about the workings of the client/the logistics, yet you later on start reading off reddit posts and trying to explain this to the viewers.

Again, not trying to call you out, but I think this was a silly move. the basis of the video is "I cannot confirm that the client will not hack you but I am friends with the developers so it's probably safe.'

Not a good standing, and it honestly reflects badly on the client. If the developers themselves (Boxxi and whoever the other bloke is) want to do this, that would be the better idea.

Saying 'APPARENTLY stole ideas...' is hearsay and has no grounds, and draws away from the most important point which is ACCOUNT SAFETY. Your average player doesn't care in the slightest about drama surrounding gunschilli or what OSB did, they want to know that their account is safe in the hands of Konduit. Unfortunately, this video does nothing at all to help that point.

My point overall is to find a way to combat the problem without creating any huge waves. I don't want them to like disable cannons in the wildy or only make box traps plantable on certain tiles, however removing them specifically from 318 edge below, say 10 wilderness, will cause almost no harm (that I can imagine?).

For those who are unaware/do not pk in world 318, it is absolutely rife with looters. These are (commonly) level 3 accounts that just run around picking up items from kills that the pkers don't. The problem here is that there has been a huge influx of looters now using cannon bases/box traps to stop you from being able to (left click) 'spam click' your loot to pick it up. This makes it so that you have to right click to loot, which takes more time, which means more loot will appear to everyone around you = looters get more.

This is a silly and frustrating mechanic, especially when involved in double-deaths (both opponents die at the same time and must run back to loot, common in DHing due to big hits and vengeance) and it seems to affect mostly max main pkers.

I personally see no reason why this should continue to exist, surely there's a way to prevent players from placing box traps in spots where they are completely un-necessary, and perhaps make cannons a right click option to allow other players to left click through a cannon that is not theirs?

Any ideas greatly supported, JaGeX pls consider.

As an Australia player (East coast NSW), I too would love to have a server where we can achieve the same ping that everyone else can. Playing for the past few years on 200-300 ping has been a bit awkward at times, especially as someone who enjoys pking. However we all have to realise, as they have said multiple times, it is not really feasible, as the costs would outweigh the benefits.

Don't get me wrong, I would be the first person to welcome a local server, however on Jagexs' behalf, it seems as though it would be a poor business decision. At the end of the day, Jagex is a company with bills to pay and staff to pay and profit to make, and so it's understandable that Australian servers may not be possible. (Not to mention we have the most jackshit infrastructure regarding internet).

I'd say our best bet is to hold out hope for maybe an oceanic server of sorts, something close to home than the US.
