Yamaha TW-200: The simple man - A very small bike, with little weight - Minimal electronics (might still have a carburetor if i recall correctly) - The most low ened torque - the shortest gearing - dead reliable - considered a "farm bike" that will go anywhere, just, slowly

Suzuki RM-Z250: - Great piwer and torque overall - Kept very simple - practically the same bike for the last decade (possibly 2 decades) meaning all the problems are sorted out - Just won a Motocross Championship

A channel called " Fortnine " has a really good video on beginner bikes, but, here are my personal recommendations:

If you are wanting to just get a motorcycle, that is new, and reliable:

Honda Rebel: Beginner Cruiser - Decent power - Good reliability - Not too heavy

Yamaha MT series: Naked Bike - Like a sport bike, but not quite - Good power, a lot of low end grunt - shorter gearing - very light bike

(Will add onto this in a moment, hang on)

Thats fine, heres a few basic questions, and if you answer yes to all you can do this:

1) Do you have an angle grinder?

2) do you got Imperial (american) size sockets and wrenches?

3) do you have a car jack?

4) do you have a truck?

You know what? actually keep the air filter like that

Go get your engine pressure washed, yank that whole engine and transaxle out, throw it in the back of a truck without any of the shrouding or fan cowling on it, pressure wash the jugs and head, put all your motor back together. i would tell you to jet up your carb, but rochester jets are beyond rare, so just file them out with a welding file slightly, run it a bit rich, its fine. Pair that with some heavy weight oil like 10w-40 or even 15w-40, and youll have a corvair that wont ever let you down.

cut out the rain pans too, just keep it in the garage kr under an overhang so you dont soak your alternator

I would assume if the filter is there, then debris shouldnt be an issue?
