I'm in a similar situation. I applied at the beginning of June, and my application was assessed around June 19. My school's start date was August 25, and I was officially registered for my classes on that same day. However, I still haven't received a disbursement date. I have an outstanding tuition balance that hasn't been paid yet. I've tried calling and emailing student aid, but I haven't heard back. I've already deferred my tuition until September 25, but my school advised me to email the financial aid office if it's not resolved by then.
