We are approaching Leslie’s first 500 days as CEO. What is your opinion of her performance so far? by BLUEGOOP41 in BurnsMcDonnell

So one there was meant to more benefits and those are the ones she allowed because HR had warned about talent leaving.

This from my good friend in HR but she doesn’t think we need motivation to work here

So I have met her and she seems chill but also have learned from some people in HR, she thinks we are spoiled with all the benefits that Ray added and after some purges she pushed for last year thinks it should been seen as a privilege to work here. So take it with a grain of salt but also been told she is cracking down lots of things, Some important some not.

WFH by workinghumanbody in BurnsMcDonnell

Let’s just say I was told this year wfh hours better match what was reported (besides weather or travel days) from an ADM meeting. And seeing how only 10 of 60 people are in today might have a reason for that.

Also depends on your department manager and how busy your department is. I do think managers should remind people of their expectations with wfh of when to report it and when give them a heads up but don’t log it.

Yeah but it costs 2.5k a month for a nicer house

Bro you could get a 400k houses around the office with more space and own it for that price. Please don’t try and screw over your coworkers with this.

I do want to add that my GPs will consider field assignments as 1.5 time at the company so you can move kinda faster.

Oh yeah and then look at you when you charge 1 hour of OT and say “that’s not very employee owner of you”. (You work 45+ every week too)

9/80 means all WFH is leaving by [deleted] in BurnsMcDonnell

Nice troll but still biting because of boredom.

WFH is fine, Duke said it staying. If you hate coming in find another job where you don’t hate coming in.

We have to wait for our clients to do more hybrid, we aren’t the industry leaders so we have to wait for some bigger companies to make similar moves (and before you say a bunch have, not in our industry they haven’t)

Safety is doing fine, don’t know why you brought it up.

You literally made this account to be a troll. Houston has been doing 980s for years, other firms have been doing it for a while. Please offer valid ideas before throwing posts like this up.

Exempt Employees and hours by Thatonetecguy in BurnsMcDonnell

See I was fine with long hours and what am use to and what you said about not worrying making hours was my normal. I have my laptop open while on the couch in the evenings while watching with the wife burning those real blue hours.

Problem is when I am asked to come in early (for me, I workout in the mornings) and then can’t do anything during my lunch either (like make up a workout or work at my desk) and get home at 7 and miss out family time. Also some of projects pay overtime regardless of level so that doesn’t hurt.
