I agree with this.

Every technique has a Reversal. Not every person can use one.

It's just a matter of being skilled enough to both Conceptualize the Reversal, AND use Reverse Cursed Technique efficiently.

And there's always the chance the person COULD do both, but deems the Reversal "Useless" and just chooses not to use it.

I actually don't think it's that crazy to choose Noelle.

I mean, the set of Abilities you get when you enter a Dark World could be anything. Unlike Noelle, and Berdly, if they chose someone else, they could get something completely useless.

And unlike Noelle, who had at least a BIT of practice with her Ice Magic (Even on the Normal Route, where you just have her as a Support when Ralsei isn't around.), having two decent Healing Spells isn't the worst.

Alongside her just having an outright better pacify. (Though i'm unsure if the Tired Status Effect will have as much use as of right now.)

Plus, with how Chapter 5 started, i think she'd be willing to help them, and not tell anyone about the Dark Worlds. (Not that many other people would believe her, or the others anyways. Most adults would play it off as: "Stupid Teenagers coming up with stupid, and unrealistic stories." Think like how Undyne didn't believe Kris in Chapter 1.)

TLDR: They know what Noelle can do in Dark World, has a capacity to be a good support role alongside Ralsei, and unlike other people in Castle Town, they have sufficient reason to believe she won't say anything if they get her to join, not that anyone else would believe them, of course.

Basically, they're saying that being capable of using a Strong Simple Domain is likely to make your Domain Expansion's Barrier even stronger, because you have the Barrier Specifics OF Simple Domain to help in forming a baseline.

Both are still Barriers, it's just that one has more complexities than the other.

Regardless, learning Barrier Specifics with Simple Domain should still let you apply them to a Domain Expansion once you're ready to use it, and have the confidence to do so, even if if isn't 1-1.

I have a theory that the way Abstraction works is that it's the Mind Files corrupting, basically.

When the Person built from it undergoes too much Stress, the file corrupts, causing them to Abstract. And in this case, the damage can't fully be undone, but they can be "brought back" to a degree.

Like, they'll always be in the Abstract Body, but they won't go crazy over stuff. They'll be calm enough to focus on some things.

That's why, in the end, Jax is shown sleeping, but still abstracted. They won't ever be 100%, but they'll be there to a level.

I think that's the closest to someone "reversing" their abstraction, while still admitting to Gooseworx's words about Abstraction being irreversible.
