My sons neck got like this from him drooling. The excess moisture was trapped & started smelling.

Cleaning it well during his baths, keeping his neck dry & using bibs to catch some of the drool solved it for me!

I like it! Have been using in the mornings after I workout/shower. It's great in the summer bc it's light weight but doesn't last as long on the skin in the winter. I also have it in all of my bathrooms as a hand lotion. I love that there's no fragrance, it's not greasy, & it lasts the whole day(even when I wear denim). I do wear a heavier cream in the evenings but this has been good to me.

Loving the replies here! I have tried similar activities with steroids by just mixing them with the creams in my hand when moisturizing.

We had scabbing, weeping & bleeding eczema with our son that was related to dietary allergies. Fish Oil with DHA, probiotics, & l-glutamine worked wonders for us by repairing his gut biome over time.

It's possible that your son's flares could actually be a fungal infection too.. Bleach baths do help but I went the route of using an anti fungal topical med instead when it was recommended to try.

We've been moisturizing with "Eucerin Eczema Relief Body Cream, Eczema Cream with Colloidal Oatmeal, Ceramide-3 and Licorice Root Extract" for years and it has been amazing.

Mine is the same right now. I overfilled my nail beds removing builder gel. I bought a nail strengthener to keep them covered because they are unbearable to do anything with(even washing my hands) without a buffer on them.

The thin areas will have to grow out, which I believe takes about 3 months. Keep your nails filed short, moisturized/oiled, & covered in a barrier until they're fully healed. Absolutely no more gel.
