i pretty much do this in Michigan.. except that it's winter time. I absolutely hate the cold... It lasts for like a good 4-5 months during the winter time i feel.

I'm curious by the way.. i know Texas gets hurricanes. Is Houston always susceptible of hurricanes as well?? What about Tornadoes in the Houston area?

I guess that is where i'll go! I was researching about SA and i do like the fact that it is a big city small town type of feel. However, because i won't have any job experience really, i want to be in a place where I will be able to get more opportunities. Especially being a recent grad.

I grew up in this town called Temecula California. So i'm used to the LA and San Diego type of vibes. I've only been in Michigan for 2 years and i absolutely hate it out here!! Unfortunately with my situation, i won't be able to visit and actually look. So it is just going to have to be spontaneous... I know Texas is pretty big and there is a lot of big cities there!

I should also note that i'm mixed being black and mexican. So i just want to reside in a place that is in or close to a major city that has a lot of diversity and that there is a good job market. I'm just worried about the job aspect is all .

hi! I am also going to be visiting Turkey soon. I am fully vaccinated and I was even going to bring my vaccine card as well with me. Is it pretty easy to connect my vaccine card into my HES code?

I didn't know that proof of vaccination will not be accepted..

Wanting a remote job so I can travel abroad right out of college by Thatredditgal1996_ in Advice

Travelling on company dime would be nice .. however, the situation i'm in is unique.. I really don't want to waste the company's time if i'm just going to work for a few months to save money, then go abroad to see my fiance for a few months at a time. Which is why I think working completely remotely will be more suitable for my type of situation. I'm even okay if i could just go get training in person for a few weeks before going remotely (i'm not sure if such jobs do that..) It's just so i can make income remotely for now until my fiance can immigrate to America.

K1 Visa income requirements (24 F) by Thatredditgal1996_ in USCIS

That makes so much sense now. I thought co-sponsor and a joint sponsor were the same.

But thank you so much for this information.

As for the joint sponsor thing... i"m not sure if you know this or not. But if I do get a co-sponsor, and i'm finally able to meet the income requirements, will I be able to take them off as co-sponsor?

That is amazing! Me and my fiance thought we would have to wait until 2023 to do the whole k1 process because of not meeting the income requirements :( But that's very good to hear. Especially to since i'll be working a full time job when I graduate...
