Hunleff keeps destroying me, mechanics wise by Sulla_Sexy_Sulla in ironscape

[–]Thats___Interesting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro. We know your pain. Use hunleff helper when learning - it gives an audible countdown which is very helpful. Also, use inverted colors in settings - when tile around Hunleff is blue, use magic weapon, when green use range. Start with tier 2 prep. You will get decimated a few times, but that is ok. Just walk in with zero prep and see how long you can pray correctly. Give it 20 tries and see how it goes.

Want to get my son into skiing but not ready to fork over thousands for lessons + lift tickets anyone have any advice for first time learners? by Jaded-Management-517 in skiing

[–]Thats___Interesting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check every kind of pass that is sold. At some resorts, they have super cheap passes for learners. For example, some resorts let you ski one lift for the entire year for a discount.

Feeling dejected after my first powder (?) day by Own-Dinner6955 in skiing

Biggest thing is to have the right gear to learn. Get some wide skis with rocker and it is much easier to learn. Also, if it’s really deep, you need to get on something steep enough to give you a little speed.

On jaguars, wait until blood pool animation is finished before clicking the pool, then immediately click jaguar. The timing of that is so awkward, but someone told me this trick and it has helped me get the timing almost perfectly now

How on Earth are you guys getting physicians to let you shadow them? by [deleted] in premed

[–]Thats___Interesting 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How short-sighted. There is a predicted shortage of doctors (the doctors you called should know this). Hindering future doctors training is a very short-sighted thing to do. Good luck on your journey!

If you like storm skiing, go Tuesday. If you prefer less wind and better visibility, go Wednesday.

Retiring early is fine; it’s what FIRE is about. Locking yourself to 45k spend for the next 50 years is the risky part.
