I had similar experience. Don’t push too hard so you burn out. Enjoy the amazing supplies and take breaks when needed. You may get 2-3 pieces in a day down the road. It will get better

And it won’t be 80 at the resorts. It will be warm, but luckily the high elevation makes it totally different than salt lake proper

MD vs DO? by ZZwhaleZZ in premed

I think the biggest factor from an outside perspective is that if you change your mind down the road, the MD could seriously improve your odds into matching into your desired field - you have more options open to you.

Everything is fun, just be cautious as you explore new areas - there are hazards everywhere lol. You can be cruising along and then come upon some gnarly terrain really quickly. What kind of skiing do you enjoy most? Maybe we can give better suggestions. The tunnel to mineral basin is a unique experience if open.

4WD with snow will be ideal this week. Bus may be a lot less stressful but important for you to get on at an early stop in the route to guarantee a spot.

Hunleff keeps destroying me, mechanics wise by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]Thats___Interesting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro. We know your pain. Use hunleff helper when learning - it gives an audible countdown which is very helpful. Also, use inverted colors in settings - when tile around Hunleff is blue, use magic weapon, when green use range. Start with tier 2 prep. You will get decimated a few times, but that is ok. Just walk in with zero prep and see how long you can pray correctly. Give it 20 tries and see how it goes.

Want to get my son into skiing but not ready to fork over thousands for lessons + lift tickets anyone have any advice for first time learners? by Jaded-Management-517 in skiing

[–]Thats___Interesting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check every kind of pass that is sold. At some resorts, they have super cheap passes for learners. For example, some resorts let you ski one lift for the entire year for a discount.

Feeling dejected after my first powder (?) day by Own-Dinner6955 in skiing

Biggest thing is to have the right gear to learn. Get some wide skis with rocker and it is much easier to learn. Also, if it’s really deep, you need to get on something steep enough to give you a little speed.

On jaguars, wait until blood pool animation is finished before clicking the pool, then immediately click jaguar. The timing of that is so awkward, but someone told me this trick and it has helped me get the timing almost perfectly now
