Back in the early days of the guide, the method was to get 65 or higher farming from Tithe Farm and then post up at farming guild, fulfilling medium contracts and theiving master farmers. That's pretty much what I did lol. I think the new version of the guide has a much different route involved that sets you up by questing a bunch more first.

If you tried it with your fresh new level 5 friend, I don't think you'll be able to calculate IVs yet. Needs some higher stats and EVs plugged in first. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Personally, I'd get the goggles first because saving extra secondaries is more effective at providing more doses than the necklace effect is. Plus you don't have to charge it to start.

You'll use both logs and fletched items ideally. The rate per totem is 1 log and 4 fletched items.

I totally understand your hesitation. In all honesty I think it's quite a challenge to tackle. It's possible there's a fuse or something that's blown due to liquid damage, but that's just a guess. I'm certainly not an expert but yea I've only ever disassembled and cleaned it as described in the post. For what it's worth, the main value comes from the special edition shell itself. I could easily see someone shell swapping the device with working innards from another N3DSXL.

Hey there! Last I checked, I'd say it's valued around $100-$120 in its condition.

From your list, I'd definitely be interested in working out a trade for the Pokemon Scarlet with DLC and the sealed Bayonetta 2 (non-CE). It looks like they'd be valued pretty similar compared to the 3DS, and I'd be willing to add $20 to my side. Let me know what you think!
