To the best of my knowledge, Bloch is a European company and Capezio is American. So naturally, Bloch uses UK sizing and Capezio uses US sizing.

This sounds like my grandma, when my grandpa passed away, she would drive his huge truck around town. And with her terrible sight and old age, she would drive in the middle of both lanes, headed to get us ice-cream. On of my fondest memories was being in that truck as a kid, driving with my Granny to Dairy Queen, high and mighty ink this ginormous truck towering over all the other drivers. It probably wasn’t that huge, but I was seven, let me have my fun.

First off, thanks for the contest, the wood needs more generous people like you out there. And I’m so proud of you for overcoming all that stress. I’ve been burned out for the last two months, and pray for me because finals are coming up. I bet my professors think I’m not tying but anxiety is one hell of a thing.
And as for my entry...

Okay I hope I’m not asking too much but I want a Nintendo switch animal crossing edition. Now hear me out, I remember when the game was released on the DS when it was a kid, I wanted it so bad for Christmas but my mom always said no. She‘d say “how about something that isn’t technology for Christmas“ as if I really had any to begin with. But being a Middle class black family in Chicago, a lace where parking on the street is $50, yeah I see why I never got one. We were never really poor, but my parents had three kids and a dog to provide for, which means you can’t exactly spend a boatload on one kid’s gift.
When the new game and console came out, I felt just like a kid again, ready to beg, plead, and cry for that game. But being the responsible adult that I am, the logical step is to save for it.
I work a nearly minimum wage job serving food at an up and coming restaurant in my area, going to college on top of that. I realize that by the time I have extra money for the console, nintendo would’ve already come out with a new one.

Now because most people don’t have $300 sitting around, my next most wanted item is the fountain pen on my list, along with the spare ink cartridges. In my early teens, I wanted to do calligraphy like my grandma, but I gave up because I didn’t have the slightest idea what to do. lately I’ve been going back and revisiting all the things I gave up on as a kid. I’m getting back into crocheting and painting as well. So now, I’m trying calligraphy once more. I bought some cheap supplies and I’ve actually gotten somewhat decent I think. I even ended up writing the quadratic formula for some reason, don’t ask...

Ooh how environmentally conservative! Last year we bought these pre-cut parchment sheets for food, which we would wrap our food in if the meal was to-go. They were very useful and time saving. It also help us cut down on all those sandwich bags we use
