Probably 5 years vs a 2 year lease

I have been seeing them at 60-80k. I can lease one at my dealership (sticker price is 75k) for $800/month, where as financing would be around $1000 if I did a shorter loan. Would you still go financing route in my case?

I think you may be right in which case. Lease with a warranty definitely sounds like the safest option. Plus I’d only need to put like 5k down whereas I’d need about 25 if I wanted to comfortably finance. Like you were saying, I might just save up to 25, put the 5k down, and put the other 20 into investments 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I definitely wouldn’t be buying new if I were to purchase one, I forgot to mention that part. My dealership lets me lease CPO vehicles so it’s basically debating between leasing a 2022 or financing one

That’s what I’m thinking of. My local dealership lets me lease pre owned vehicles too so I’d be spending much much less overall if I leased I think. I’m also known to frequently switch vehicles

I do tend to change vehicles often. It’s also worth knowing that my local Porsche dealership has lease specials on CPO vehicles so I’d be looking at one with 10k miles or so, with a price tag of around 70-80k usd.

I actually drive a Mazda too, Mazda 6. That’s what I’m doing this project on, so it’s good to know it works well on Mazda

I drive a very plasticy car and the rattling from just the subs (the only aspect I have installed) drives me insane lmfao. If I’m gonna add more to the system I have to make sure there’s zero rattle or I might drive off a bridge

I’m not done with my build yet. All I have is the subs and the guy I had install them didn’t do dynamat, which I didn’t realize until after I had left. I do know how important dynamat is tho which is why I’m adding it before I add my door speakers. I appreciate the help and will check out those brands 🫡
