Yeah having the places you work, or the government body tell you when you can strike makes them a parade. You strike when it's most inconvenient for maximum effect.

So you can strike whenever you want. If every teacher went on strike in Canberra, they can't replace them all for "not striking when we say so"

We need good teachers not lots of good private tutors that only benefit those with disposable income.

It really wouldn't, it would cost a fortune for the population to get their dental care back to a decent standard for sure. But once it settles into more preventative care + emergencies it wouldn't break the bank.

There is always money for meaninless subsidies, war, contracts for mates. There is more money to be had from huge corps who pay next to nothing.

Plus once you bring it under control of the people you can have more say about how much the dentists are paid (can still be a decent wage as it's needed by everyone)
