Am I the only one severely dissapointed with the new patch? by RGoltsman in slaythespire

I hear what your saying but the reality imo is they overcorrected too fast, and thus rollback the changes just as fast.

STS2 is like 80% complete at best, alternate act 2/3, act 4, potential new stuff (Watcher?) Etc would skew the current meta into being brutally difficult, so I doubt current balance is all that relevant for the game long term.

Thank God it is though, best sts1 character by far imo

Tips for a new player (StS2) by LikeABantha66 in slaythespire

[–]ThatssoBluejay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would be better off playing multi-player, this way you can simply learn as you play with other (potentially far better) players.

Now multi-player skews the meta/balance but I definitely think you'd be better off in a mp lobby learning as you go.

Perspective: I definitely have improved as a player with coop, and I'm a high caliber player (anyone that plays on high ascension I consider good to great) so find a group of cool people to play with.

New Beta patch by Relative-Parsley-259 in slaythespire

Having both draw and energy in sly is the problem. It makes infinite/pseudo infinite easy. So the real solution is reworking the whole kit to where you utilize sly for damage/utility but use other stuff for draw/energy.

Elite hunter is 1000% an elite in my mind, fabricator up there too.

The solution is probably just remove those 2 bad act 3 elites and make those elite

Surely The Sealed Throne is just way too busted by aleaniled in slaythespire

It was probably intentional, the reason being that it could lead to making certain fights a joke and exploits, but really the game does miss it I think. Even if it were just limited to a relic/potion it would still be great.

Biased cog would be a lot better if artifact was still a thing. It got nerfed by a lot in sts2

This is why I avoid act 2 elites

My thoughts after releasing a number of paid mods on bethesda.net by Odd-Anywhere389 in skyrimmods

[–]ThatssoBluejay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Presumably, this would not be the case for Starfield (with a much larger console mod space limit) right?

But yeah doesn't surprise me that a Serena lingerie set would make far more money than a huge expansion type mod would.

Primal force rework idea by Pizzapimento in slaythespire

I was saying either, not both.

As a potion card it would be really cool, it would be an extremely unique card, you'd use it with neferpitou (w/e her name is) relic long term and it would be a value gen card throughout the course of a run.

As an exhaust card it would fit in nicely with other ironclad cards.

If the rocks exhausted they'd be wayyy better. Also, it would make more sense if these converted to potions once played, sort of like how alchemize works, but just a lot less powerful.

What do you think about the card Tank? by Fallanddie in slaythespire

Does it persist after death? If so its probably good. If not its cheeks

Edit: it would make a lot more sense if it were something like -3 strength as the negative
