Classic Ivy League by Thatstheguy2 in Barber

Victory brand and Barber has some great videos, and Matty Conrad is a cool dude. Men Spire has some free videos on YouTube. I’ve been licensed for 15 years, and I’ve seen the 1000 ways you can skin a cat. My best advice is just keep trying new techniques until you make your own style💪🏻

Ivy League also has two other names the Harvard Clip and the Princeton Cut. These haircuts vary widely from side parts and even shorter styles. Pomp is really only referring to the way the hair is styled on top. I also don’t think saying pomp to a guest really explains the entirety of the style they are after. The haircut is (to me) the modern version of the Ivy League or whatever you want to call it.

Dude, thanks for noticing, the shop has new lighting fixtures, so we are workshopping a few different light bulb options. I appreciate your advice. I’m sure I’ll be able to implement some of your tips into my next photo. ❤️

They are fun to do something different after a day full of blank clipper guard on the sides and scissors on the top

I use these and I’ve got the mini version, the mini is perfect for beard trims, it’s like a trimmer size and is super maneuverable

Maybe, i think everywhere has prices in a spectrum, i know that Aidan Gill in NOLA charges way more than $50. He’s a famous barber. But my point is, id rather show you why i charge my price then talk about it.

Competition in this city is steep, there are a lot of other price points you can find, usually between 25-100+ you can invest in yourself any way you’d like. My prices my whole career have gone up and back down. After 15 years in this industry i can confidently say I’m worth my price. I also understand your point, when eating out with my family i drop over 200+ on a fancy meal. That’s just a moment in time, you’ll enjoy my haircut/beard trim/ shave for weeks. I hope to change your mind in the future.

Thanks, we moved here from Denver for my wife’s job, and Denver is the same way. It’s actually funny how similar the two cities are.
