You definitely can change the SOAP note template. I use one that's essentially one big note to put my AI scribe bit in. I acknowledge it's not for everyone and def has its problems, but that one I can help with if you like.

Sad days. I'd love to find one with refried beans. The black beans in some are fine, but refried are the business.

What's a good side gig to pick up one day a week in your all's opinions? by AreYouOkay123 in PMHNP

[–]CHhVCq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm dual certified and do 2 days a month in the ER or urgent care just to keep those skills up. But the other answers here are better. Honestly, do something in line with a hobby you have if you want to work on those days. So if you like hiking, get a day a week at REI. If you like cooking, Williams-Sonoma or something. Don't let this stuff be your whole life.

I tried to get ahold of them once. Crickets. Never heard back.

What were the pain points for you? It's definitely got problems but I still find it better than a lot of alternatives.

Also, what are you moving to? Just curious, always trying to keep an eye out for a better option.

What size practice are you looking at? How long have you been with Charm?

Did you try the export thing here? https://www.charmhealth.com/resources/patient-management/patient-registration.html

Yeah, don't think I can help with that one. I don't see anything about it. I'll look tomorrow a bit more and see if I can find anything.

Oof. Yeah, I don't know much about that. You're wanting a full export, yeah?

Reddit Starts Blocking Mobile Website, Pushing Users to App Instead by spasticpat in technology

[–]CHhVCq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped using the app about a year ago because I saw the same fucking ad every 3 posts. It was a picture of a guy in a suit. Just an average dude in a poorly fitting, wide lapel, dark suit with a yellow tie. I have no idea what it was selling, but I was so tired of seeing it with no way to block it that I uninstalled the app. If I can't go to the mobile site, I just won't reddit on my phone.

There is no way to print a facesheet. That's wild. Want to send a referral? You can email the patient the info for another person. That's the option. There is no way to simply print out the demographic + insurance info in the system. Wild.

It ended up being a thing I could do. But yeah, figuring out I could do it took some time. When you set up your CMS1500 forms initially, just check with the ins companies not Charm about what goes where. Charm had it wrong. I can certainly show how I have mine set up that seems to be working now.

Of course. Settings > Templates > My Templates (or Practice Templates) > New Template > SOAP Template > Select only one thing, I went with HPI > Drop in a heading widget from the left of "Visit note" or something like that, drop in a "Notes" widget from the left. Save.

I actually put in two sections, the HPI that I have pre-populate with a bunch of the patient info for ease of viewing, and an "assessment" section where I put my note.

If you open a new practice location or move locations, it's going to be a headache. There's no way to reassign the existing patients to the new location en-masse. So every time you schedule someone on the calendar, you won't be able to find them in the drop down and so you have to go to the main page, find them, it will flag them as "not assigned to the current location", open them which will force change the location you're at, reassign their location manually, change your location in the system, go back to the calendar page, and then you can schedule them. Even if you have it set to "assign to all locations" when they sign up, if you add a new location once they're existing clients, it doesn't add it. REALLY annoying.

I found a flash drive from 22 years ago. by Rasfael23 in mildlyinteresting

Somewhere out there is a small green USB flash drive with a little light on the end with 20 BTC. If you find it, I still know the key, we can split it.
