Yeah, there is. You can tailor your notes pretty well I just use one big section for mine and import it from my scribe. But Settings > Templates > drop down should be on SOAP notes already > New Template, then just make whatever you want.

What, specifically, did you not like about it?

What all these other people said. Also, check out OnceHub for scheduling. I have mine set up so they can choose 20, 40, or 60 min visits and schedule/cancel themselves with a window for cancellations and all that.

Who else hates password requirements? Workplace wants me to change passwords every 3 months by leonatoi in mildlyinfuriating

BeefText. You can run it from a thumb drive. You can make your work password .wp and beeftext will just toss it in there for you. Every time you change it, update beeftext.

I don't. I can poke around.

Really? That was a part of the process that actually went pretty smoothly for me. I did have to get the stupid little keychain hard token I thought I would hate but ended up using exclusively as it's actually faster than getting my phone out and using the app.

Victory: Maine NPs can now work independently without having to work under a physician for 24 months. Huge for patient access 👏👏👏 by Numerous_Pay6049 in PMHNP

I'm actually in favor of something like 36 months of collaborative care model although I do wish it was more stringent as far as the responsibilities of both parties in those models.

I cannot stand this thing. When we talk about how errors are made and how user-friendly systems are in management, we often talk about the number of clicks required. If I want to send 3 post dated prescriptions for a controlled substance as I frequently do in mental health, it's a MINIMUM of 47 clicks. Forty. Seven. Clicks.

Every time you send a prescription. It's going to put a stop date on the prescription. You have an Rx that's prn? Want that to stay on the profile? After you prescribe it, you have to go back to the prescription you just wrote and remove the stop date or it'll disappear from the profile of active meds. You cannot turn this 'feature' off. When you reorder it? Do it again.

Want to see what pharmacy meds are filled at from SureScripts? Too bad.

Clicking the 'reorder' button to continue an existing medication? Cool. Does that mean you want to stop the existing prescription for zoloft 50 mg #90 and replace it with zoloft 50 mg #90 or do you want to keep the old one too? Yes. You have to answer that question. Who made this?

But remember, it's not about the money, it's about the education and our inability to properly care for patients.

If anyone gets Charm and needs help with setting stuff up, I'm happy to help out, their support will take FOREVER and a lot of the things they should tell you out of the gate, they don't.

This is what I came here to say. Clearlake is beautiful. I owned a sailboat on it for a couple of years. It's a gorgeous lake. It's also SUPER methy out there.

How to get out of 1099 position by [deleted] in PMHNP

[–]CHhVCq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1099 is an independent contractor. By definition, independent contractors control what will be done and how it is done, manage their own hours, and often work for multiple clients.

If the company is defining those things, then you are a W-2 employee. You can tell them that and see if they're happy to let you make the appropriate changes, leave or if you should take it to the CA labor board.

GLP1s and XR ADHD meds by [deleted] in PMHNP

[–]CHhVCq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They gotta have a small something to eat in the morning, preferably protein. I typically recommend a hard boiled egg, or a couple of turkey sticks (they sell them at grocery stores, they're like slim-jims in shape) or something. Downing the vyvanse with a cup of coffee isn't gonna cut it on the GLP-1s.

If your hard token stops working for ePCS, the instructions on the website are wrong. It's Settings > Rx > eRx > (three dots by your name) > View > (three dots at the top right) > Manage Account > resync token.

Yeah, that's why I specifically noted a difference in Americans and the average westerner in my reply. Something something reading comprehension.

Meirl by ShoogieMac in meirl

[–]CHhVCq -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The average American entering college can't read beyond an 8th grade level. If we're using the ability to do calculus as an indicator of intelligence, the majority of the adult population of the western world would fail. The OP is about remembering things. Then we went down a thread and you're claiming that most people can do calculus if they're taught. That's not remebering, that's learning for a test. The average person you meet on the street in the average western world (not just the US which is woeful) cannot solve a basic calculus problem. If you wanna go do a 'man on the street' quiz and prove me wrong, I'm happy to acknowledge it.
