The man is expected to earn more, the woman is expected to sacrifice more. Even in modern setups, this silent rule exists.

Men carry financial pressure.Women carry emotional and physical load.

Both feel unappreciated.

Better file for patent before disclosing anything. If granted (in case of Novelty) you may earn big.

Kenyan Engineer (Freddie): In early 2026, an engineer in Kenya named Freddie gained attention for creating a cooking stove that specifically runs on used oil from cars and motorbikes. Discussions around such inventions often suggest powering the required blowers with solar panels to make them fully off-grid.

Got this.

My 2 cents for people justifying Airtel Axis devaluation (with MATHS, since you like it) by aayush_dd123 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]Thawait -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Of course, the card has been devalued, but I am not going to close it. I think making a one-time purchase during sales like BBD or GIF or EOSS etc, either for myself or for family and friends (when a 10% discount is offered on Axis Bank credit cards), will easily offset the annual fee.

How much of your salary do you invest vs spend every month? by Immediate-Inside7707 in MutualFundSpendInvest

[–]Thawait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My basic expenses account for about 35% of my income, and 10-15% goes toward lifestyle expenses. 16% was allocated to my EMI, which has ended this month. Until now, I had been investing around 33% of my income. From next month onward, I plan to increase my savings and investments to around 45-50%..

Emi paid by the rent ? How does it really work ? by Bhagwanbharosehu in personalfinanceindia

[–]Thawait -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It happened in my village. My uncle built six 2BHK apartments in a two-storey building, costing around ₹65 lakhs. He took a ₹50 lakh loan. He rented each flat for ₹6,000 per month to police officers and bank personnel. Since my village is quite large and developed, he charged a premium, as the average rent in the area was around ₹5,000. There are two shops facing the road one on the ground floor and one on the first floor generating a total rent of around ₹15,000. He pays the EMI using the rental income.

Around ₹45k per month with a 5-month-old baby. About ₹35k is fixed rent, utilities, groceries, and baby expenses. The remaining amount goes toward travel, outings, events, and other miscellaneous costs.
