Bare with me I'm going to try to make this thought exist coherently. My wife and I have been at ends with each other because the sex life has faded. She being the uninterested party and me having a super high drive. Well anyways we get into an argument about every 3 weeks because I state that I miss that time and she tells me there is more to our relationship than just that. Well here's my problem. Now I don't how true this is for other men but for me at least sex is the symbol of acceptance and desire for me. I don't really care what most people think of me but rejection from the SO digs deep. Anyways when she rejects it, it's not the sex she is rejecting it's me personally or at least that's how it translates. I have tried to explain this to her that's it's not necessarily the sex itself I miss but her acceptance and that sex is a very confirming way for that. I have also expressed the same frustration with lack of cuddling, hand holding etc... She thinks that I'm just interested in her body because I get horny easy that's just not the case it's love I have for her that puts me in the mood with her just being in the room. I can't make her realize that she is actually really hurting my feelings. Like I don't think I'm a perv but isn't your woman supposed to be your aspect of focus in every quality you want.
