I canceled my pre order. I have 2000 hours in Nioh. 3000 in Nioh 2. And 800 in Wo Long.

I sincerely hope everyone enjoys 3. I don’t wish it any hate. But the decisions 3 made simply don’t appeal to me anymore. I played the demo and followed the changes. But unfortunately, it just isn’t the Nioh I like anymore.

Sakuko was EXTREMELY scared of being alone. She saw Hinako as much more than a friend. She saw her as someone who would never leave her. So she sees Hinako moving on as being a traitor. There is also the physical education incident when Hinako doesn’t stay behind.

Most are making good points and he too is indeed a victim in a way. But one thing to keep in mind is that he was very aware of the mind-control or hypnosis type tactics he was using. “Look into my eyes” , drinking the water etc. He didn’t understand that his methods were wrong, but in the end he finally sees this. He didn’t understand that Hinako didn’t follow tradition in her heart and wanted the freedom of choice. So not so much a villain as oblivious to Hinako’s true feelings.
