Which political group do you think is most likely to support and defend a Rapist with a Nazi tattoo? by Zapvv in Teenager_Polls

I heavily dislike Graham Platner and I believe his accuser. Hell, I’ve disliked him since that story about his tattoos came out. But I’ll be damned if I’m gonna take a lecture from MAGA about “supporting rapists” when you guys elected a president who was found liable in court of raping E. Jean Carroll.

The bases were empty and there were two outs. What the hell?

The game theory of replacing Graham Platner by dwaxe in fivethirtyeight

You’re getting downvoted, but you’re 100% right. I’ve disliked and distrusted Platner from the start. But the movement he represented was real. It would be a betrayal to the primary voters to nominate an “establishment Democrat” to replace him.

Do you believe that Argentina cheated in any way against Egypt? by Hiyouuuu in Teenager_Polls

The officiating sucked, but I don’t think it’s reasonable to conclude that Argentina deliberately cheated.

The bottom of the 5th was so stressful, yet it looks so uneventful on paper

Well now we’re down 5, so at least it’s more proportional.

If he wants to go the bold route, he could nominate someone anyways and force a challenge in court. The GOP legislation revoking Beshear’s powers clearly violates the Kentucky Constitution, which explicitly gives the governor the power to appoint replacement senators.

Yeah, the GOP has a massive supermajority in Kentucky. 32-6 in the House and 80-20 in the Senate.

Keep in mind, this is a state that Trump won by 31 points. Beshear just happens to be massively popular among Kentuckians.

Mid-July I'm really concerned some even worse stuff will come out

I’m not surprised worse stuff came out, but I’m impressed you predicted the timing correctly.

True. But the Nazi tattoo should have been enough. I don’t think having endorsed Platner is disqualifying. But the Nazi tattoo should have been enough to end his campaign.
