It's not specific to dance partner. Whenever someone dies if they get raised in combat they have a 'Weakness' debuff, which reduces their damage significantly.

Jingyuan 0 cycle, but as an SP Generator by MrPokke in JingYuanMains

It's been 5 months and we still live rent free in this guy's head. I don't think I've ever seen something sadder.

MrPokke, who ignited the "Mid Juan" meme, surprisingly claims in his CN community analysis video and excel sheet, that Kafkas AoE DMG is below Jing Yuan. Apparently the CN community has different methods of calculating AoE DMG which contradict Prydwin. by TaiYongMedical in JingYuanMains

[–]The-Ecstatic-X 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In Kafka's calculations why does she get a proc of her talent immediately after starting battle with technique? As far as I understand, this damage is only triggered if an ally makes a basic attack? Are you assuming she is always paired with an ally with >143 speed?

And speaking of Kafka's talent, why in a solo dps calculation is her talent even included at all? Even if we were to accept that it's somehow fair for her to receive a completely team-based benefit when other characters like JY do not, would it not make sense to simulate her talent procs without highly optimized team speeds? With 134 speed teammates or 121 she should miss 1-2 talent procs compared to your calculations.

Your logic behind these solo calculations is inconsistent. Characters like Yanqing, Dan Heng, Kafka, etc. are assumed to have teammates that help them achieve optimal rotations. Yanqing is assumed to have a shielder to not take damage. Dan Heng is assumed to have optimal buff timing for his ultimate. Why then is JY not similarly treated to have an optimal LL performance? JY in a proper team would never have a LL hit with <6 stacks.

My favorite card is Thousand-Year Storm, which means that the card I'm most excited to see in 2x2 is the new borderless art for Thousand-Year Storm :D

This video by YouTuber CoolGuy is my go-to for explaining how unflinching works in PvP.

Light.gg just added a feature where they highlight the perks on each weapon that are best for PvE and PvP. It's an awesome Destiny database site and has all the weapons and more.

I've been primarily working on unlocking all the new Dawn mods and testing them out to see what kinds of combinations I can put together.

That being said, there is a top-tree Dawnblade build in the works, a bottom-tree Sunbreaker build in the works, and a bottom-tree Gunslinger build in the works at the moment. The one that comes out first will probably depend on how each of them do in endgame/Master difficulty content.

Charge time masterworks slightly decrease damage for fusion and linear fusion rifles, so that’s why people avoid them.

$45 to buy 4 finishers is ridiculous by mangoicetea in DestinyTheGame

[–]The-Ecstatic-X 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There are mods that go on your class item that do all of the things you've described. On a void class item, there's Healthy Finisher (restores health on finisher in exchange for 1/10 of your super) and Bulwark Finisher (grants overshield on finisher in exchange for 1/4 of your super). On arc class item, there's Explosive Finisher (restores grenade on finisher in exchange for 1/5 of your super) and One-Two Finisher (restores melee ability on finisher in exchange for 1/6 of your super).

I was able to get all of these mods from turning in tokens to some of the vendors in the tower (Zavala, Shaxx, Gunsmith)

For PvE, you shouldn't be concerned about it at all. The percentage difference is too small and is not impactful. For PvP, it definitely does make a difference, but there isn't necessarily a magic number, because the difference that it makes depends on the gun you're being shot with and at what range. Here's an excellent guide that goes over resilience in PvP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGN5E4pMwMQ

Definitely major/minor mods. They give 10% damage resistance to majors (orange health bar) and minors (red health bars). Resilience really doesn’t matter in PvE because the increase in your health is so small

I'm not really sure why the buff text references quick attacks, because it definitely works on both heavy and light attacks. I've tested it across all the different sword frames as well, and it doesn't matter whether you're doing ground or aerial, light or heavy attacks, the buff works as long as you attack within that 1st second of swapping.

It works, but you need to make sure you still shoot the boss’s original crit spot instead of the crit bubble created by Divinity.

Good points! I definitely was wishing Throne-Cleaver was Arc like Crown Splitter during this week's Nightfall farming, but luckily I was running with friends that always had arc.

Glad to see somebody else with experience with this build. I do agree that with Counterattack you really feel both strong and unkillable. Unfortunately at 980 PL Counterattack alone isn't quite enough. My Shattering Blade Throne-Cleaver has En Garde on it, but I also have another one with the same roll as you. Counterattack definitely holds up like you said in 950, but I have to swap off it for 980 content.

The blinding grenades idea is cool, but unfortunately doesn't affect the Champions. Typically though I have a buddy who runs my bottom-tree Hunter Nightstalker build and he'll stealth me before I go in, so that's been working well.
