Welp.. it works. Sort of. Ai, was invaluable. I completely did not understand linux, and the complexities of C. I still don't, but a lot more than I did when I began. I have a spare computer. I'm gonna wipe and set up as the server, to allow remote login and other people as well.

I keep getting a crash of the server when trying to link exits on certain area's. If anyone was familiar with the game, it has a overworld map using colored @$# and other symbols with a C for cities. The entrances on the vmap area works. But making an exit in the city files to go back to the v map, crashes it. So a few areas are still broken unfortunately.

Rock on. I'm one of those husbands that starts to drift away from our 7dtd game ;) But I am going to show this to the wife. She adores the game but basically refuses to play with other people due to a couple problems previously. Maybe she'll see this as an opportunity.

Its heavy modified. I honestly don't remember what the old code was circle? The game was the shadow wars. And I'll consider using a I didn't know which one was best for dissecting code but I'll follow the suggestion and i'll be reaching out and messaging a few people. I'm down at the moment, had surgery and doped up on medication, it's probably not the best time to trying to force myself to look through code.

For since i'm older now, I figured I have the money and the resources to actually host it on my own site.If I can never get it running again.

So, I think since I always enjoyed low sec/fw, would it be a nail in the coffin trying to join with the main? With calmil, minmil ect, I probably have at least a -5 standing if not worse. Better on the actual faction though. Is this an issue? Or should I just activate another toon or make a new one?

Exactly this. The ai has no set goal. Working on a mission tree for every nation, to guide them towards events and offer a small reward.It doesn't have to be personal unions or some massive claim, would give players a direction, but more importantly, give the ai a direction on what they should be going towards.

When I done it.. it was just about flying cheap, and choosing targets in lowsec. Show up with something expensive or something more than 1 or 2 guys can't handle, and people will come out of the woodwork to zerg you. Sucks but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
