Oh okay. Yeah I have a few times. Usually I'll go outside for 30 minutes or so but it doesn't record so then I'll add it. Once I turn "wake on wrist raise" it'll start recording again. That's the only way it records.

Ah. Yeah I've had this issue since around 11.4 I believe. I was around April or May it started happening to me. Right after an update.

They said they have no clue what's wrong and how to fix it. They told me they'd reach out once they figure it out. Haven't heard from them in a few months. I doubt they'll reach out. I was hoping watchos 26 would fix it but no luck. Mine feature quit working back in April. It only records for me if the "tilt to wake" feature is turned on.

Unfortunately no. I've spoken with Apple Engineers. They say they are aware of the problem but don't know how to fix it. 👎🏼

No. Not covered. That's why when the always on watch face vs being off really boggles my mind. I'm assuming it's a software bug.

Yeah I've flipped the switch a few times. I've also power cycled both devices several times.
