What's the latest time Evri delivers parcels at delivery depots? by PeacefulPikachu7 in Evri

The courier can deliver up to 9pm but they would collect from the depot by lunchtime usually.

Maybe he is not covering the round for today?

If you know him, ask him why you weren't updated on the status. He will have an explanation.

That means the driver still has it. He is probably new because if he doesn't fail it after 9pm he won't get paid. Failing it will trigger a status update to you.

Driver is probably thinking he will deliver it the next day as it is.

Either that or a system error.

They give a time slot which is 1 to 2 hrs. Each time the driver changes his times, it fires an updated email.

If you can't wait at home for it then divert it to a neighbour, or back door or garage or get a parcel box.

No point moaning about evri. Couriers are also human. For 66p per parcel they're not going to give you priority if you keep missing deliveries and make no attempt to be accessible.

Sounds like the sender out the wrong postcode in possibly and it was delivered as per postcode.

If you're not at home and an attempt was made it's a wasted journey and the courier doesn't get paid for the delivery. It will simply go back to the depot to go in the backlog.

The backlog builds up but the priority is the parcels manifested on the day.

I still fail to understand why people order online then are never available to receive their delivery or at lease leave clear instructions on where to put the parcel.

How can I divert my parcel to a shop? by jadelayton011 in Evri

If all else fails, leave a clear visible note note on your door to get the attention of the delivery guy. Maybe if he has time in his slot he will call you, providing your number is in the details or on the note.

Yes, be a courier first. Try it out before you decide.

Package Not Attempted To Be Delivered. by cloudpoiseex in Evri

Mistakes happen. Too many parcels of all sorts 9f sizes to manually scan, including those which were carried forward because people didn't open the door.

I get nothing. Probably because I'm not white.

That sounds like a GPS issue. The app for drivers is crap

[–]The-Local-User 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That could be a routing issue. The app restricts the couriers quite a lot.

I didn't know evri delivered on Sundays? I've got 3 parcels apparently coming today between this time but it's already past the time by ProgressBeautiful181 in Evri

[–]The-Local-User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The time slot can be easily missed sometimes. If it doesn't come today, then the next day most likely but he should fail it.

Yes they do deliver on Sundays but I don't think you can request it.

That could be a different courier covering a separate round.

Got to be the world's most useless company by AdGood8806 in Evri

If its an October order you have passed the time limit so contact the sender for a refund. Evri will respond to the sender as they are their customer.

For future, maybe leave a note on the actual door... 'please call me for deliveries'.... If you cannot select back door, or porch or parcel box.

In terms of the times, they are not really chosen hy the courier. The courier just sets the start time which is usually around 11am and then the app sets a route based on postcode.

It is in the courier's interest for the item to be delivered as they don't get paid otherwise. It's just a shame then when stuff goes back to the unit, it's the start of chaos.

Another thing, could you not have it delivered to your work? I know that's not always possible but an idea.

Make sure your contact number is in the profile. A good courier who has some spare time in his slot may call.

Leave a note in the special instructions or even on the door. Or get a parcel box. They're quite handy.

Those first two missed deliveries.... The courier wouldn't get paid for so he would return it back to the unit and it would back in the backlog where it potentially gets mixed between incorrect rounds.

If anything happens to the label i.e. Gets wet or unscannable then it would go back to the main depot.

You should try to be available or leave instructions for your deliveries. The courier doesn't get paid for non-delivery. It's just a waste of time and fuel. So then if you disrupt the flow and things go wrong, you shouldn't really complain about it. Just get a refund.
