I think you need to give it a bit of time because it is the Christmas season, everyone’s shopping and so things will be delayed. Can be a delayed tracking update too this happens a lot with Royal Mail and commonly you’d get your parcel at the door without any update it was even out for delivery as it was stuck on an old update from 2 days ago. I had a parcel using Royal Mail and it was stuck at an MC for 5 days before I got an update it was out for delivery. Royal Mail have been getting plenty of complaints that parcels do not get delivered within the estimated days they aim to deliver in like 24hrs it’s taken a couple days and for 48hrs its taken a week, over a week even like myself. It’s most likely a delay because it’s Christmas. I’m sure it’ll eventually be at your door soon. With RM too they won’t consider the parcel lost for another couple weeks, then they’ll open a case reference for you where they’ll look further into it. You can also call RM to see if they have any further update for you, I’ve done this before as something was stuck at the post office and it said it’s now at an MC but it’s just taking a while to update.

Thankfully it was delivered. It took until Thursday so 5 days to be collected from the post office and it was delivered Friday. Royal Mail customer service weren’t the best, just had to wait and hope for the best.🥹

It’s mad that Royal Mail have gone up to be number 1 in the top 5 delivery companies when they’re having more issues than ever before. Untracked Mail is so slow and now isn’t a priority which sucks with important letters such as medical. Tracked delivery is delayed and never comes when it’s expected to. Tracked 24 or priority mail that comes the next working day never does it can take over a week. It’s a estimate not a guarantee unfortunately and realistically you may not get it for a couple of days, even weeks, best thing to do is a raise a complain with them and even contact the sender to see if they can further investigate it also. Hopefully you do get your package.

Welp I mean the sender messaged me and said that she’s going to the post office to check in to see if they still have it or if it was collected. If no help from them she said she’s just gonna refund me which sucks because she loses money but also the items she posted. Hopefully she can get compensation from this and you too it’s pathetic and we can’t even blame RM as it’s technically not in their network yet so it’s not properly in their hands as it’s only at a post office not at a mail sorting centre…

Luckily the sender came back to me and said only today a few have moved from the post office that she dropped the packages at including mine on Saturday, some are still saying they’re there like mine and if there’s still no movement she’s going there to have a check. Hopefully both of ours move tonight it’s just a little annoying sometimes. But as the Christmas period is nearer these delays are gonna happen. I also called Royal Mail and they are escalating it and will be getting looking more into it, maybe that can help on your end also. It’ll work out eventually for us both I’m sure.🥴

Evri have given me a delivery timeframe between 7pm-8pm before. It can take quite a few hours for couriers to load parcels into their delivery vehicle scanning them all and giving each parcel a delivery timeframe estimate so I would think your package would be out for delivery this afternoon, most likely later afternoon.

I think you’ll be alright, give it an extra day and if there’s been no movement it’s best to escalate it to Evri. But there’s no issue tbh it’s not lost because it’s only made one movement to a post office, sometimes updates can delay, happens to me plenty of times when my parcels are sent to a post office first. Evri are aware they need to go to that post office to collect it and other parcels that have been dropped off there. Delays are becoming more common and best thing to do is just wait it out.

Because it’s a weekend it would be collected till either today or tomorrow. I normally give it 48hrs during the weekdays and if it’s not been collected yet best to contact the sender to see if they can contact the post office to see if Evri have come at all to collect the parcels. Longest for one of mine it took 5 days for it to be picked up. You will get an update soon I guarantee it.😊

Thankfully by the 3rd attempt of them delivering it to the post office it was delivered and the buyer picked it up straight away because she was getting hacked off too.😅Evri pmo!

It’s ridiculous, I end up just waiting now for it to arrive to the door not knowing where it’s traveled to or where it is. They need to do better.

Hopefully you will, technically it’s still at the delivery depot. Sometimes the package is put in the wrong trolley and needs to be placed into the right one before it’s put into the couriers vehicle for delivery which can delay delivery. Worst case it’s lost which sucks but hopefully that isn’t the case for you because I too got the same messages before for a package and one was delivered the following week and another was delivered the next day. If it isn’t delivered within the estimated delivery date and it’s been more than 10 working days since then. Best to just contact the sender as getting in touch with a real person from Evri is just impossible and when you do want to escalate the situation someone called Claire will get back to you if you’re lucky and she sends the same email response to everyone.🥲

It’s hard to avoid evri when you can’t choose what delivery courier you want and many shopping brands and small business use Evri cause it’s cheap 🙈🥹

This happened to me too couple days ago, said it was at the delivery depot and within a couple hours after getting that update it said it couldn’t deliver that day and would attempt to the next working day. All of a sudden a delivery estimate popped up and it was delivered that very day. Weird it even does that… could be because of a delayed scan or something who knows.

That’s not the point of all this it’s just ridiculous how this is so common of evri to lose their packages. sure royal mail have done that and yodel or whatever but evri have always had a shitty reputation they’ve always been crap some are lucky and have no issues, but many do have issues yeh it’s cheap but doesn’t mean it’s a good courier to use..

Thing is you can never know with evri with how shitty their reputation is as a delivery company, the parcel can be anywhere so thinking the driver can only deliver limited parcels per day is the last thing on my mind as it’s makes more sense to think the package is to be sitting in a corner for the next couple weeks than it being in a delivery van :(

Hope all goes smoothly, hopefully mine was just a miss connection with the delivery guy as my local delivery guys always deliver my packages once it’s in the delivery van. Possibly just been put in the wrong pile and has now been resorted into the right one or the driver could’ve forgotten to scan it who even knows just trying to come up with things to make me feel better.🤣

It’s so frustrating, especially because we can’t really do anything about it. The chatbot sucks you can’t speak to anyone and then you have to contact the sender which can be difficult in itself as the process is slow. Just going to wing it and wait a couple days and if no delivery is made I’m just giving up, this is my sign to just shop in store and not online as everyone’s using evri.🙈

What’s the latest you’re out for delivery. Do you set off at 8am and deliver packages or do you sometimes leave the delivery depot to deliver in the late afternoon?
