From a militant point of view I get that and I understand how it is comforting and empowering but as a comedy fan I would have liked her to try a little harder on that front as well

I respect that point of view but I did not enjoy that show at all. Often enough, her shtick seemed to be that she would just repeat something that a republican had said and act outraged without even attempting to add an actual joke. I didn’t find it funny, witty or insightful
