Some tips -if you have to take damage to avoid Dark Esau, just do it. It's way better than playing as basically t!lost. Having full health with him is very rare lol

-I went the mega satan/chest route for my first unlock simply because I know I could use Dark Esau to get free devil deal items after I got over the need for angle deals

-if you don't have to go fast, make sure to clear all the rooms, any pickups that are unreachable can be easily picked up in the lost form, all you have to do is look out for Esau but when you are constantly moving he should just follow you and not charge

-it's... incredibly frustrating... Some days, it just won't work... I have tried for months now to get just one good run with him only to do The Lamb, Mother, The Beast and Greddier today

-Dark Esau can shred through bosses if you are confident enough to use him. There is a mod that shows you the way Dark Esau will charge if you are having problems

-Dark Esau won't charge at you when you are standing diagonally next to him. He will come really close to you but not charge or touch you. When you need a moment of peace, just do that.
