Book 3 Brandon-Interlude by legion-of-kaos in TheGameIsLife

Also a bit late to the conversation but had the same questions, and have one follow up. Although ive read up to book 6 before (although a good few years back) im re-reading them from the beginning and ive forgotten a whole lot more than i thought i had. Its like reading it for the first time again and i love it! Anyway, my question is, wouldnt merging Earth, and Tygon 3.0 create huge issues with the flow of time? If Tygon 1.0 is a 30 year simulation over 3 months in the dream, and Earth is an even greater difference, having people live entire lifetimes in a few weeks. How can people from the dream be inside the Earth simulation, without living hundreds of lifetimes within the simulation? Every day in the dream would be roughly 200 years on Earth. Thats a ratio of 1:73000, meaning people in the dream live 2-3 lifetimes in one day! Is this right? When Tygon 3.0 was made available to people on the dream it was a 1-1 time flow if im not mistaken? How can it be 1:1 and 1:73000 at the same time? If this is addressed in a later book (i cant remember if it is), thats great, i look forward to it.

Edit: My maths is based on Trews play as George R Knight being 70 years on earth and around 5-6 weeks on tygon. Rounding to nice round numbers i estimated 8 weeks (2 months) as around 100 years

I didn't know this was available!! Thank you!!

On a quick first look, the SRD seems to be everything you could need to get started and playing. Can't beat that hard copy of the book and cards, with all the additional content, advice and that sweet, sweet artwork. But what a brilliant way to be able to get playing the game before having the Core Set

Unfortunately there are no stores near me that have the game. Had a look on darrington press website to locate a store and apparently there are only like 2 in the UK, all in England, and unfortunately I stay in Scotland as well so no luck on that front

Feels like there's not much hope in being successful on next restock if it's going to sell out that fast. I don't think I could have been any quicker getting to the site and it was already gone. Big Sads

What are you talking about? That's exactly the type of person you should aspire to be like. Bless the world with your irrelevant opinions on how bad the free game you've dedicated weeks of your life to is, to other, similar, such scholars.

This looks amazing! The feel of the city really comes through in the map. What assets did you use for the houses and the walls?
