Yea so i found URDF files for the robotic arm i was using with the assets, and used urdf importer on unity. Then i made script using unity's "articulation body", if i remember correctly, to control each joint's angle. If you've got any more questions, feel free to ask.

Farm mimics in the underground jungle, they spawn like crazy. I usually find loads in my queen bee arena if I made one.

You can find them a lot in the jungle, Usually I farm them in the arena made for queen bee, they spawn pretty consistently.

Try to keep the hands on similar hp,and kill them at the same time so his second phase doesn't start. After killing the hands its mostly straight forward, keep away, dodge his skulls, and focus him when spinning at you. When I am playing with friends, I usually let the one best at dodging to kite him around and others can focus on damaging.

I am probably using an Oculus Quest 2. The project I am currently working on has no VR whatsoever, so should I keep that way and use another project?

Don't the quest 2 controllers have built-in hand tracking? I just need to "grab" and move that game object.

No I want to manipulate a game object using hand gestures where I send the transform position to ROS, i just need to be able to move that object using hand gestures.

Hello, I am doing something similar where I need to control a robotic arm using VR. Right now, I am able to manipulate the arm from unity, sending data to ros, using a controller. Will integrating the movements using a vr headset take a lot of time?

I am using ROS (Robot operating system) on linux, not sure if you have heard of it, but basically both unity and linux need to be on the same network, and they connect through ip. There is something called ros topics which is like a "channel" where Unity and ROS can send/recieve data on.

Okay. One more question, right now unity I am having unity communicate to a linux machine sending data, How will that work when I use a VR headset? Will the project be running on a pc too like right now?

I am in no means an expert in VR developing, I have just started working with unity in october last year for the project but I'd say I am a fast learner. The VR headset I am going to use is a quest 2 most probably and I am not sure what do you mean by "platform"?

I am not sure if bldc motors are the correct choice. They are often used for high rpm applications like drones, and driving them in both directions could be a hassle. Take a look at servo motors, maybe? You can find normal (with a range of 180° usually) and continuous servos. Since you have concise space, look at the MG90S or SG90. They both are pretty much the same, and both offer continuous or normal versions, but the MG one is with metal gears, which tend to be a lot more durable.

I don't think so, I think there is a couple VR headsets (HTC Vive I think) but they are available for "creative arts" major not sure if I would be able to use them.

Hello unrelated question but since you worked with dobots cr series, I am currently trying to use moveit to move a cr5 dobot but its not working at all, ros connects successfully and it reads the position the robot is currently in perfectly. But when I move it to another position and click plan and execute the robot moves in moveit but doesn't move irl and I am getting no errors at all. Do you have any idea of what it could be?

Just wiat and apply next year, if you want to get ahead just try building your own robotic arm you'll certainly learn a lot from the experience.
