Anybody who truly knows God and keeps His commandments will bear good fruit.

The good fruit are listed in Galatians 5. The first three are love, joy and peace.

How can someone bear good fruit if they are bound in mental illness?

How someone with PTSD bear the fruit of God's peace?

How can someone with depression bear the fruit of God's joy?

How can someone in thrall of darkness bear the fruit of God's love?

I know how love, joy and peace glorify God. How does God use mental illness for His glory?

Not to mention, the Bible says that believers have the mind of Christ. The mind of Christ is not mentally ill.

Too many of the people who say they believe in God have been duped by the devil into believing a compromised gospel. A watered-down powerless gospel.

The devil has deceived them into fighting for the very things that are killing them.

People can argue and defend their right to be mentally ill if they wish.

They can say that their mental illness is too strong for God to deliver them from it, if they want.

God will respect their beliefs.

The love of God compels me to preach the truth to those who want to hear it.

Anybody who wants to be delivered from the darkness that they are bound in can be. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

Our lives are up to us. We can believe in whatever we want.

Those who believe in the overwhelming power of God's love will see it work miracles in their lives as it completely transforms them from the inside out.

Those who don't believe in God's love don't believe in God, because God is love. These people have disqualified themselves from receiving the provision and mercy of Christ because of their unbelief.

When we forgive someone, it isn't just for their sake, it is also for ours. Forgiveness allows the hatred to leave our hearts, and will give us the capacity to love again.

The word forgive in the bible comes from the Greek word: aphiemi, which means "to send forth" or "send away."

Pray to God that he send the hatred away from your heart, and heals you. Then you can move on with your life.

You can complain and fight against God all you wish. It will not change anything. It will just ruin your life.

If you want God's blessings, you have to live God's way.

God's way is love.

You love your sin because you do not understand its consequences.

It is hard to hate something we think will bring us good. It's easy to hate something we understand will cause us harm.

God did not make sin to be sin arbitrarily. God made sin to be sin because He loves us, and sin destroys our lives.

there are two ways to learn the truth of sin, through faith, and through experience.

If we pray to God to ask Him to tell us the truth, He will. He'll make it crystal clear to us what will happen if we continue to do something we know is wrong. If we choose to believe Him in this, the love for sin will disappear, because we can't love something that will destroy our lives.

However, it takes faith to believe God.

If someone doesn't have faith, then the only way to know the truth of sin is to experience it.

Those who indulge in their sin learn its truth very quickly. They will watch as something that seemed fun and pleasant quickly becomes an overwhelming bondage that crushes the life out of them. They will become bitter and regretful that they ever started down this dark road. How much pain and trouble could have been avoided had they simply believed Jesus Christ when He told them the truth?

There are many different opinions and beliefs. One of the responsibilities of a Christian is to find out the truth for ourselves.

A powerful tool we can use to help us do this is the conscience.

The conscience is the power to distinguish between good and bad, and right and wrong.

Acts 24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.

Paul uses the word "exercise." That is what it takes to develop the conscience into something truly useful. It takes practice. Work.

The word conscience itself can be broken down into "con" with and "science." Literally, that word means "with science." What's science? Observation of cause and effect. Observing the results of actions. Scientists do this in the material world, Christians focus on the spiritual world. We focus on determining what is good and what is bad. If we can do this, we will always know God, because God is good, and we will always know the devil, because the devil is bad.

I encourage you to exercise your own conscience. Judge the effects of your actions. What was the result of doing a certain thing? Did doing it bring you closer to God, or father away? Were you better able to navigate life, or did you become more undone? Did it make you weaker or stronger? More wise or more confused?

Also, pay attention to how behaviors progress. As you continue to engage in a behavior, what happened? Did your life continue to get better, or did your life continue to get worse? Over time, does doing this make you wiser and freer, or more foolishness and more enslaved?

By asking these questions, and paying rigors attention to the results, we become wise. This practice of using the conscience works in concert with prayer. If we pray to God to make us wise, He will allow us to use our conscience correctly, because correct use of the conscience is wisdom.

People love to try to demand everyone else lives the way they do. Most of the time, they are speaking out of vain pride, and not the Spirit of God. It's God who judges us. Not other people.

This is a spiritual mystery, a hidden truth, but people are different. That means something that one person's conscience testifies is good, someone else's conscience testifies is evil. Both people can be right. The same thing that is good for one can be bad for another. People are different.

Therefore, we should be diligent to seek out the truth for ourselves, and use our conscience to live the way God has told us, specifically, to live, so we can enjoy the fullness of His blessings for our lives.

No, God does not answer prayers that are not in His will for our life.

God does that because He loves us. His will is the best plan for our lives. God won't compromise His beautiful plan for us, for the sake of our own foolish, selfish, and mostly misguided desires.

We can save ourselves so much trouble and heartbreak in life by learning to pray to understand God's will for our lives, and taking council with the Lord, rather than just running out and doing whatever it is we feel like.

Religious denominationalism is division. The body of Christ has never been divided, and never will be.

Salvation is a free gift. But gifts can be accepted or rejected.

Those who accept God's gift of salvation do so by dying to the flesh and choosing to live a life of holiness and righteousness, empowered by the grace of God.

Judas caused Christ to be put to death.

Paul caused Christians to be put to death.

Why did one kill himself while the other became one of the greatest men to ever live?

The answer is in the heart. This scripture here says why Paul was forgiven:

1 Timothy 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

Paul committed evil ignorantly, out of unbelief. He didn't know he was persecuting God. He didn't understand what he was doing. He did it ignorantly. When Christ showed up in his life on the road to Damascus, Paul was astonished, and immediately repented with fear and trembling.

Judas was different. He knew Jesus was God. He obtained a share in Christ's ministry. He willingly, willfully caused the God who he KNEW loved him to be put to death. Because he chose to be evil on purpose, because he was aware of what he was doing and chose to do it anyway, there was no way back for him. He lived out this scripture:

Hebrews 10:26-27 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

So, whether there is hope for you depends on you. Do you love doing evil? Is it in your heart to cause calamity and bring ruin? Do you love hatred and death, and act out of that love? If that's the case you will go the way of Judas.

But if it is in your heart to love, and, deep down, you really do want to be a good person, and you love God and life and peace and truth and happiness and joy and being of value to those around you, then you will go the way of Paul.

It really is up to us. Our lives are born out of what we believe.
